How Messed Up Runescape Is

Jagex will never crack down on the bots. They pay membership to Jagex, and jagex need all the money they can currently. I've heard they were laying off jmods as they didn't have enough money.

 

It's a business, everything has its problems.
Every solution has a drawback, it's just whether they leave the game as it is, or decide to take action. Either way, they'll either loose out in the short term, or the long term.

 

There are many WoW bots.

Too true, although not many people other then pro stakers had max cash.. now it doesn't even seem like a massive achievement... then again i remember when wielding a Dragon Longsword was an achivement.

 

It's not Jagex's fault, in the end of the day, it's a business, whichever brings in the most profit for Jagex, thats what jagex will do

 

There are wow bots too, they're just not as popular since it's hard to run more than one client.

 

I agree the game sucks now, I've never botted in my 7 years of playing and don't plan to.
I accept the fact there always are bots.
But the loose policy that jagex has (even buying banned accs back), is the main problem.
The community has also gone to shit.
So yea, I joined the black market to sell of my virtual assets and quit for good.

 

The only thing that disappoints me is the fact that one can no longer trust anyone in runescape, not even people who you have been friends with for years. The botting has also reached a ridiculous point.

 

pretty much always been like that Untillt hey removed free trade and it was all going smooth. Then they had to bring it back and fuck everything up. I kinda miss the trade limit(as bad as that sounds)

Just watch some old 2009 videos and then some new 2011 videos walking around rs you can see the increase in bots, 2009 was a good year

 

I don't care what ANYONE says, 2009 was THE best year for rs.
2007 and all that shit SUCKED. And before you guys ask, yes, i did play pre 2k7 and hated it. 2009 all. the. way!

And bots, well if you can't beat em join em i suppose. I just wish there wasn't some bots such as Idungeon pro, andy fdk (i think thats wut its called), and some other ones that ruin rs. Look at frost dragon bones, 13k each... sad

 

2007 had the best community, best pking and best graphics. I know the graphics are better now but I like the shitty 2007 graphics.

 

this shit is ridiculous, i need to go to 1500+ total worlds for my slayer tasks because retards bot turoths for a 40k sword...

I don't mind making the amount of money I've made from RWT at all though.

 

One of the cons of free trade, I guess all we can say is oh well. Jagex still bans bots though, they just pretend not to notice them for awhile, took them about 8 months to notice I was botting till I got a permanent ban (last october).
