What Happened (Full Explanation)

1. Agreement on the Swap
The user Adilkhan agreed to trade his Maxed Main account in exchange for my 1x Max Pure and 1x Mid Pure accounts.

2. I Sent Account Login Details First
At 12:09 PM, I sent him the login details of my Max Pure account so that he could check the account.
I also clearly told him that once he checked the account, I would then send the registered email change URL.

3. He Stalled for 14 Minutes
From 12:09 to 12:23 PM, I kept asking him multiple times whether he had checked the account.
He repeatedly stalled and delayed, saying things like “opening Runelite,” instead of confirming.

4. He Hijacked the Account at 12:23 PM
At 12:23 PM (14 minutes later), I received an official Jagex email confirming:
“Your character has been successfully linked to Jagex Launcher.”

At the exact same time, he messaged me saying that the password was “incorrect.”
This proves he had already hijacked my account by linking it to his Jagex Launcher, and then lied to me.

5. His Original Discord UID Proves It Was Him
The scammer’s original Discord UID was 1388485011099091045. This UID is unique and cannot be faked.
- When searched in Chrome, this UID still resolves properly, confirming it belongs to a real, active account and was the one he used to scam me.

6. He Changed His Sythe Profile After the Scam
After completing the scam, the user went back to his Sythe profile and edited his Discord username and UID to completely different details.

This was clearly done as an attempt to cover his tracks and avoid being reported. However, his original Discord UID (1388485011099091045) remains valid and links him to the scam.

Just a few things I would like to clarify here:
1. my banner clearly says to DM me here on sythe before doing any business at all. it always has
(I never recieved a dm from abch1)

2. The discord and ID currently signed, is the one I originally had on here and my old dms confirm that if the moderation would like to verify.

3.There was a brief time I had a friend of mine responding to discord messages on my behalf, because I am working a lot currently however I made it very clear I do not want them handling deals unless I recieve a PM here first. that is why its posted in my banner. That is why I removed them from my contact information.

4. To my understanding they claim the information never worked, but Had I known they were even trying to do an account swap to begin with I would of declined because I only want BTC or GP for my accounts. which is also stated in my post.

This is false. After the scam you edited your Sythe profile and changed both your Discord username and UID.

3. “A friend was responding on my Discord”
Even if true, you are fully responsible for all activity on your own Discord account.
The scam took place on your verified UID 1388485011099091045. Whether you or a “friend” used it, it is still tied directly to you.

4. “I only take BTC/GP, not swaps”
This is contradicted by the chat log where you agreed to swap your main for my accounts.

5. “The information never worked”
The timeline proves otherwise:
- 12:09 PM → I sent login details.
- 12:23 PM → I received Jagex email confirming my account was linked to Jagex Launcher.
- At the same time → you claimed the password was “incorrect.”
This is proof you took control of the account and lied.

This is my first time communicating with you, which invalidates all your claims. Nobody else taking messages for me in the past has authority to finalize any trades without me being pmed here on sythe. to avoid future confusion, I took it upon myself to make my discord and Id what it was before allowing anyone else to help.

There is no way for me to verify other peoples actions outside this platform. I have not recieved a single pm from you here. Sythe rules make UID verification the standard. A Sythe PM is recommended as extra safety, but not required.
Since the scam happened through his verified Discord account, responsibility falls on him under Sythe rules.

It seems that you skimmed my responses, and completely missed what I was explaining. I am not denying that UID was listed on this discord for a brief point of time, I never was. I showed proof the one I currently have on here was on prior, the other one is associated to someone I know personally who was responding to discord inquiries for me, but were advised by me not to do any trades without me confirming in scythe pms as it has always said on my posts, No terms were established for this trade which is proper protocol on sythe to begin with, and I don't even know deltails about the accouts he was offering, nor would I ever have accepted that deal anyways. I am happy to acquire you the full chat transcript from the individual who was supposed to contact me so you can confirm that. Their information has already been removed from being a secretary. I still also have a strong feeling he never gave them valid information to begin with so I think you are being a little quick to DNT me before this has actually been looked into.

 

I don't know what there is to make right because to my understanding he was never requested any information, and did not even provide any valid information. How can I make something right that never happened?

 

I would honestly like a second opinion on this if you don't mind. Happy to acquire more information just let me know.

 

If trades are done on discord there is a reason that there is a PM format to verify the terms of trade for both parties in PMS. he never sent me a single sythe pm nor do I do any trades on discord directly if I am selling something.
