Thread name : Soul Rich & King of Stakes - Scamming bettors by hiding facts about an incident with a level 90 magic account. Manipulating giveaway odds and deliberately changing VIP bonus amounts. Unavailable provably fair verification for some Discord games.

1. The owners of King of Stakes attempted to hide an incident with a staking account for over 4 months. When it came to light due to Vader's report, they attempted to hide part of the incident due to "lack of evidence", even though they were fully [informed](https://i.gyazo.com/cc71dc7dc6e6f28d3d67cbc92f7c5469.png) about the situation. The incident was due to incompetence by Ninja's office workers who used a level 90 magic account for RS3 stakes for both calling (house side) and hosting (bettor's side). The thing that makes this a scam is due to the aftermath of it where the owners tried to hide the scam by not issuing refunds for bettor's and outright lying by saying only the house was affected because the account was only used for calling on [sythe](King of stakes - Resolved) and on [King of Stakes Discord](https://i.gyazo.com/d046bd94161bcdb8f8e3021dd88b4739.jpg). As they mention themselves, they heavily fined Ninja and collected the money that was lost for the house, however refunds to bettors for unfair fights were never issued. I don't know the exact amounts that were bet on the level 90 magic account but looking at [statistics](https://i.gyazo.com/6fa8f9db413afea4acf94368f9ce9b29.jpg) from that month we could do a simple math : 58.142T / 744 (total hours in 31 days) * 63 (the very minimum hours provided by Ninja himself) / 4 (average hosts open on RS3 at any given time) = 1.23T RS3 in potential bets that should have been refunded to bettors. The reason why I didn't report this sooner is because I didn't have enough evidence to provide that the account was also used for staking, as I was afraid that just the [ticket](https://koaly-afk.github.io/Ticket/) would not be enough. However last night I was going over routine checks of streams and came across one of the [clips](kosluigi - gap) missed in the past with one stake where the account was used for hosting with the level 90 magic account. Should the clip be deleted, I have a recording made as well.


2. As of late, they have more frequently played with odds manipulation for mystery boxes and jackpots of which these odds are not being disclosed to people. The owners often set odds so low that they are near impossible to win. This causes them to periodically change the odds to something very high which theoretically means they could choose when to give away the prizes, and even potentially try to pick timings for when to give to people whom they want to win. From the screenshots we might even see that if someone manages to win at those huge odds they increase it even higher so they could 100% pick the winners. Jackpots are influenced less, but as we can see both types of giveaways have been edited ~ 100 times. In this server alone.

4. King of Stakes has a separate Discord called DGC where they host Discord games. As you can see in evidence below, they announce that all the games are verifiable, however there is no command to verify games such as : Hi-lo or flowers.

Closing statement :


I am sure Sythe's staff will ask why I am reporting all of this so late after the dates when these issues happened. First of all I believe that reporting these issues individually would have never changed anything, they would have been easily fought off and there would be no results. Second, I didn't have all the required evidence for the staking issue to provide a definite answer to whether the level 90 magic account was indeed used for hosting. My main goal of this report is to shine light on everyday issues in King of Stakes to the community, as a lot of other things in King of Stakes does not align with my values and understanding of how such place should be ran including but not limited to: lack of transparency, unannounced changes, lack of responsibility from some staff members and owners, and scammy and shady practices. As I have been in King of Stakes for 8 years, 4 of them in Manager position and over 2 years in the staff team I tried time and time again to point out these issues, however little to no action was ever taken, and things have instead just been getting worse, thus forcing my hand to leave King Of Stakes permanently and make this report and announcement to the community because I don't see it changing any time soon, or ever. As some of the staff members and community members know, I left Elite Ranks close to 8 years ago because of similar reasons, however I was unable to make a report against them, as joining King of Stakes required leaving Elite Ranks with a good standing.

We will be responding to this report properly soon. Sythe Mods have already been contacted. Our ticket system was taken down by @Koaly himself, as he controlled it, on his exit, nothing to do with us. We are going to get a new one up. Please stop spamming the report and taking things out of context, with an already out-of-context report. Everything is running fine, nothing is affected, cash in-out has not changed.

As mentioned in the pic, much of what is stated has either already been dealt with, taken extremely out of context and is extremely misleading. For example, us lowering the odds of a GIVEAWAY - yes, giveaway, because its been going on for a long time and nobody has hit it yet, so somebody wins, yet this is being labelled as "odds manipulation", just to show you how crazy this report is. The way it is presented is aimed to distort the full story of pretty much everything. Nevertheless, we will work with sythe mods to resolve this matter.

Again, manipulation and trying to obstruct the truth. I didn't take the ticket tool down. I did contact ticket tool support to try and remove the backups and panels because everything related to the ticket tool was from hard work that only I put into it and I am not leaving my work behind. However I was told that it wasn't possible unless I was the owner of the server. Not only that, but because I left the server I didn't have the means to take it down anyway. The fact is, it was working when I left, so anything that happened afterwards isn't my doing. If you would have paid more attention when I was trying to teach you how the system works, you could probably have fixed it.

As for the things being dealt with, I guess covering up the truth of using the account for hosting and not issuing refunds is how you deal with things, in such case yes, it is dealt with, and it is a scam.

I don't know how more misleading you can be with the fact that for 2 straight months there was one mystery giveaway won without you having to force a win by altering the odds to be 1/10. What makes it worse is that right after someone won, you increased the odds to be even higher than before. If barely anyone can win a giveaway without you allowing them to win it, it is clear manipulation. My 8 screenshots show exactly that.

Multiple times today you have already tried to lie about stuff on your own Discord. (Sorry for screenshots not meeting the requirements of Sythe. I am no longer in the server and so can only provide screenshots of what people have sent me)

Stating 95% of time bonuses increased - https://i.gyazo.com/bc8b79f510401560b75a24cb417f3a79.png, but from other screenshots you can see that bonuses were edited 27 times by Deal & less than 50 times by Castle (which includes other messages by them) and the majority of them being edited down rather than up, it's odd how you say it's 95%.

We apologise again for the delayed response. It seems this whole thing is an orchestrated, well thought through plan by KOALY and 2 ex-developers in KOS to attempt to ruin our reputation and create their own gambling server whilst this drama is unfolding, and attempting to take our bettors. As this report was posted, 20 hours later 2 developers left discord & they took our staking-related discord bots we had (which they were getting paid to develop for years, sums to 10s of thousands of $). 5 minutes later, the 2 devs and Koaly are owners of a gambling discord, and tactically are using this as a means to grow their own discord.

I want to start off with the fact that I wasn't aware of any plans other members of King of Stakes were making. Throughout the day I received 3 potential invitations to join other discords, and I picked the one where I knew the people already. It's a chance to build something new. However none of this is relevant to my report as it purely covers the issues within King of Stakes, and I would like to stick to it.


Responding to the fact that they are stating that I am trying to make them look bad, I would like to provide some interesting screenshots that happened in the KoS Discord for the full day after my leave trying to destroy my reputation and paint me as a crazy, insane person that shouldn't be trusted. In fact, I'll provide even more screenshots of me raising that issue before with one of the owners, that same staff member used the same “crazy, tired, burned out person” accusations before directed at me.Castle (one of the owners) and my chats about Reaper and Reaper pushing the agenda in the KoS that I am mentally ill:

I would also like to point out that the screenshots that you provided feels even more taken out of context and can be extremely misleading.


Let's go back to the Actual report:1. Level 90 AccountI will repeat myself. I agree that usage of the level 90 account was due to terrible incompetence of Ninja's office and wasn't a scam. What made it a scam were the steps you took to resolve the issue. The refund policy for offline streams in KoS has been a rocky road. It was consistently pushed by more than one staff member to be 100% refund to bettors if the host lost the stake and their stream was offline. It was then promptly changed back to have no refunds if bettors didn't see that there was an issue. From the start you chose the bad route for handling the stream cases which was “If it wasn't seen by bettors there is no need for a refund”, and in addition your decision was that you needed to hide it and for Ninja’s team to delete the twitch VODs. Then when this all came to light by Vader's report, you chose to lie about the account not being used for hosting and kept on doing that up until this last response, in which you still state that the issue was resolved. However the fact that bettors were not refunded states that it in fact, wasn’t resolved. Just because it happened in the past, or that it involved a somewhat small amount of people doesnt change the fact that you practically scammed them by lying, then going about saying that since it’s a small amount it’s fine.

Castle admitting in private with Ruptured on the 12th of May that the account was used for hosting:

This was Castle’s statement at the end of the case, showing measures that should be taken against Ninja’s team (fines, ICS refund, and stream nuking), in a group chat that I wasn't a part of and just now get to see, which states that I wasn't fully aware of the outcome of the case until Vader's Sythe report hit and I then finally got to find out that bettors were not refunded and the owners stating that account wasn’t used for hosting. We can also see the bare minimum of total refunds for bettors in this case, based on the days we have provided by Ninja.

2. Manipulation of giveaway odds. Correct, you increased the odds to win. However from my already provided evidence it can be seen that ONLY one win happens in 2 months without you increasing the odds. Which means you basically control when and potentially who wins the giveaway. So saying that the only bad thing is when you decrease the odds to win is false when the vast majority of the wins in the last at least 2 months happened when you allowed it to happen. Hype behind winning the giveaway is completely irrelevant here due to the fact that you staged when the giveaway was being won.

3. Adjusting VIP bonus amounts. I never stated you didn't increase the amounts, I also saw bonuses being increased and decreased in a span of a few days. Again you state that VIP bonuses were being perfected every month and edits were made. So if that is the case, and the whole formula was edited, why make extra edits by the end of the month, or if you manually checked the amounts, why were everyone's bonuses not edited, instead of just certain people? Cropping the few bonuses that you increased doesn’t change the fact that editing bonuses after they are given for that month for just specific people is the right thing to do. I would still like to add to the point that as it was mentioned in the description of VIP bonus, the formula did not actually include majority of the aspects that they mention, which means that people who went for higher VIP tiers (to which actual requirements of the size and quantity of stakes done was never disclosed) did it for no reason as it didn't change anything.

4. Discord games verification. Okay, that is a bit odd on how the flowers should be checked, and I didnt see the tutorial for it on DGC, so I can admit that maybe that's how it works, and flowers are verifiable. However you state that “hi-lo” verification was temporarily disabled due to issues. First of all, if you can't verify the game it shouldn't be offered at all. Second, you said you disabled it temporarily. The last time the DGC server ban happened was almost 3 years ago, which would mean your temporary solutions and not reposting stuff has taken almost 3 years and counting to fix which is complete incompetence. And finally your message states that Hi-Lo is verifiable, so that message should have been at least changed to say that it wasn't. And again the same as the first point, if it's a small % of people who potentially got scammed, it doesn't make it irrelevant.So to finish it off :


In my opinion, so far King of Stakes’ replies did not provide anything that would contradict anything made on this report. Most of the stuff in the reply just dances around other situations and accusations of trying to make them look bad and me being misleading, while since my leave they have continued to lie about the situation and tried to make me look crazy and unreliable with “cognitive decline”. It's all dancing around the subject without actually providing anything else than the underlying message “as long as it impacts a minority of people it's completely fine”.


And finally one more chat message from one of the owners to make sure to check (and potentially delete) anything contradicting in their chats. So going forward I can't trust anything provided by them since it could be edited or parts of the messages deleted.

Hello, I don't think there is a way to make this report simple, as there are a lot of different elements to it, however I will try. @Pirate

1. Lvl 90 Account:I am genuinely glad they are finally refunding the bettors. It is the right thing to do. But it would be nice if we could see some proof of it. However we can't ignore the fact it took a full year, public embarrassment, and the resignation of four staff members and a host manager to even get here. The report is not just about getting refunds, it is about exposing the harmful policies they have been running with for years, even after staff kept raising concerns and asking for change. The community deserves to know the odds weren't fair and the system is still, honestly, broken. This report also shows how KoS just absolutely hates refunding bettors. It doesn't matter if the stream was off, or if the host was shady because "if the bettors didn’t see it, then there's no refund". Mistakes happen, we get it. But once you try to hide it, you lose the right to justify anything or ask for understanding, because you lied. 2. Giveaway odds manipulation:Mystery boxes worked as follows: Bettor placed a bet on a host, once bet was confirmed, formula was used to determine whether a bettor won the mystery box or not. Upon winning the mystery box they could click a button to determine what prize they won. Formula to win the mystery box : https://i.gyazo.com/e615133cf85ee2fda8dfccab75b5912d.png. Minimum bet being 10m 07 for 1x odds and max bet being 500m 07 for 20x odds. These edits happened manually by Deal or Castle: https://i.gyazo.com/0bd6f9350d35b434faadba1556dd1123.jpg. Which indicates that owners handpicked times, before bettors placed a bet, when mystery boxes could be won, and when can’t. This is also backed up by the same proof where you can see a timeline for 3 months, where all but one win for mystery boxes were won only when odds were edited. Could you also please clarify which chat convos you are talking about? Since the ones provided in @Soulrich reply have nothing about editing odds.
   
   
3. VIP Bonus Editing:In their information https://i.gyazo.com/2ffdd285fbe79432bf0b886b698b869e.png (deletion date 2024 11 07) they didn’t state that they can change bonuses whenever they want. Message stated that people can be disqualified from bonuses “Due to promotion or giveaway abuse, or any reason we feel necessary”. I don't see how winning is giveaway abuse. I agree it might fall under “any reason we feel necessary” however they did not disqualify people, they simply edited bonuses. That message also says that VIP bonuses are based on your VIP rank, which the formula shows it is not. Also they didn't inform bettors about any edits or disqualifications. In addition, the majority of edits which you can see in my provided proof happened before 2024 11 07, so I don't know what they provided outside of this report, and it would be nice to be on a same page with all the evidence available, but at the time there were no disclaimers stating that they will edit bonuses. Also bonuses shouldnt be changed so discord could be profitable, after the bonuses were calculated. If the formula was wrong, it could have been changed for the next month, but not edited on the go when you see how much you need to pay out.

5. Lying, trying to hide information, using ad hominem and ableism to discredit anything I said. So most of these came out after my report, but it's just as relevant as the rest of the report. My biggest concern in all of this goes beyond just a few mistakes. We are talking about bad business practices and unfair policies. Manipulating odds, changing bonuses, refusing refunds on unfair games, and not even providing proper verification for their games. It doesn't stop there. They lied about unfair odds just to save money, they hid and deleted evidence, there is even the possibility they altered messages before presenting them as proof. And to add insult to injury, they used ableist language to discredit the very evidence brought forward by one of their staff members. This is not something that happened overnight or just recently. From this report alone, we can see these problems have been going on for over two, maybe three years. and who knows… maybe even longer. Meanwhile, KoS claims to have a flawless 12 year reputation, but all of this was happening quietly behind closed doors. This community deserves transparency and respect, not deception and coverups. This is more than just business malpractice, it is a deep violation of the very trust bettors placed in them.

 

Thank you for the patience, and apologies for the wait. We have been working very hard to rectify the situation that these "cyber criminals" have caused by and our priority was to fix their damage, so we've not had much time at all in the last week or so to respond here.

Nevertheless, our full response is almost ready and will be posted within ~24-48 hours - time has been taken to obtain some data, and get a full proper response (as we did in our old post). It should be within 24 hours but since I personally am travelling tomorrow may end up being posted on Monday instead.

So far this response reads more like a mindset than a real allegation. The same mindset behind hiding evidence, "no refunds if bettors didn't notice it", calling me insane, and now calling me (and others) a cyber criminal.

Let's stop the name calling. I am not mentally unstable, a cyber criminal, or what ever other name you will try to pin on me. I left because of all the things I saw in KoS and the evidence I gathered to provide knowledge to people so they would be aware of the situation.

By the way, I left without my last pay as staff. I could ask for it, and have every right to do so, but I am not here to squeeze money out of KoS, or to profit. I walked away with dignity, did no harm, and scammed no one. I simply provided information about shady/scammy practices happening within KoS. So I am not sure where you see the "cyber criminal" in me.

Let's get back to the facts and focus on the case rather than looking at ways to blame me for the situation you are in.
