Runescape-Embarassed and Ashamed?

My good friends know i play and don't give a fuck. But i wouldn't exactly tell new people i meet unless they asked

 

Yeah kinda. Like there's this kid in my geometry class, and he says he plays runescape. And then this guy says "he plays runescape"???? Then the other kids proceed to start laughing the kid who plays rs. I'm not going down that road.

 

I NEVER want my friends to find out I still play. A few caught me as it was in my recent history, but they were pretty chill about it. However, I still wouldn't want everyone to know about my addiction.

 

Lol i've never understood why people are embarrassed to play a game :3 If you can't even tell people you're playing a game because you think someone will make fun of you for it, then you shouldn't be playing it.

I have plenty of friends who are ashamed to admit they play, yet I EXTREMELY openly tell anyone that I play it, and i've never been judged for playing it (especially considering I make a lot of real life money from it, so people actually think it's kinda cool).

 

I could care less if my friends found out.

I mean come on, they're my friends, they shouldn't give a shit what I do .

 

I laugh when people say they play WoW, and they laugh at me because I play RuneScape.. No biggie?

I never really tell anyone, but none asks so its fine. It was kinda embarassing when i came into my room and my girlfriend saw my bot running on my laptop, and was like "Your a runescape nerd?" Then she said it was cute, so no big deal i suppose.

I personally couldn't give a shit about what anyone else thinks, opinions aren't facts. I have a stupidly high level of confidence (pretty damn pleasing to the eye) So i guess being this way has the effect of they'll still like me whether or not I'm a geek...shit, some real hot girls find it attractive.

 

i wouldnt really care if people knew i played.. i mean id rether them not but if they did i wuldnt really care im pretty popular.

 

lol nah like 3 friends play and my whole group of friends know i play.. they tease me sometimes sayin "woow ur so gay" but w.e. also some girls have heard me and my freinds talkin bout rs but they don't care

 

Whenever i'm late somewhere i tell my gf i was too busy playing runescape and she laughs. Point is as long as you have a social life and dont play 12 hours a day no one's gonna give you any shit

 

I'm not, some of my friends actually play it or used to play it.

 

Hahahaha a HUGE circle of my best friends were raised off this game.
I honestly don't tell anyone that I play runescape, but me and all my friends are super close because we always get super baked together.

My friends could care less that I play runescape, because they all know that I can smoke some mad weed =]
But its funny, I recently found out that a whole bunch of my friends who graduated high school still play runescape.
If everyone did know that I played RS on the daily, it still wouldn't affect my social status =P
Maybe if I was fat and played RS, but I'm a decent looking person who always gets exercise and what not hahaha.

 

Hmm well I live in England, Uk and nobody goes round saying they play Runescape as its kinda sad. Ive played for about 5-6 years and not one of my real life friends know.

 

What we have learned here is that no one says they play runescape because everybody plays runescape.

I showed my girlfriend once and she wants to play lol, one of my friends knows but he plays DFO so we are really the only two that play MMORPGs.

The rest play COD which I quit because its boring as shit
