I don't understand.
First of all, is there any way that I can play on a server with just me and my friend where we can build and save our shit?

Secondly, why won't mine save? >_> I have the paid version and If i die... i lose all that I've built?
Why?

 

1. You can download the minecraft server from there download section (http://www.minecraft.net/download/Minecraft_Server.exe?v=1305077686608)
Then you have to portforward.

2. Not sure, make sure you run MC as an admin, as well as not running any cracked versions. If you need more help add my msn or logon to my server at sythe.no-ip.org

The not saving is definitely a file write issue, if you're on Vista/7 try running in compatibility mode for XP + run as admin.

 

If I die I respawn with absolutely ZERO. I'm on the browser version because my (VERY GOOD) spyware won't let me visit the site's download page.

 

When you die you lose all items? That's supposed to happen

 

Is the world supposed to reset, too?
