The servers are shit.

Sythe, I really do pity you. Five Pages of people complaining, very few of whom have actually donated or contribute to the site and yet they insist on improvements.

Also, as you just posted (I have experience in my java help thread w/ regards to this website), that think that because they've trolled the internet, read a guide on how to make scar scripts or best of all the RSPS people - that think they know better than people that have actually studied the subject and understand what goes on behind the scenes.

Anyways, thanks for your continued interest in this site even though you don't play the game anymore...

 

People need to realize that to run a site like this, you need to work on it to keep it great... wow..

 

If every donation actually even went toward the site...

 

I'm pretty sure it does. The main servers, img servers and proxy servers are not cheap. :noworry:

 

It's impossible to sell gold on this site the way the servers are atm. I had planned to sell all my stock (close to a bil) and donate.. but im not getting anywhere here. I've been trying to sell gold for hours =/

Thank you dude, I agree with this. I worked in an IT department working on building servers and stuff. People really don't know how hard it is to keep something running. If a multi-million dollar corporation can't stop the servers from going down, why the fuck is Sythe.org and more importantly, Sythe himself(who gave us this website) being blamed?

Do you have proof they don't? I am not saying it doesn't but until you have proof that Sythe pockets money don't say he does.

 

Servers are crap !!! I cant join sythe from more than 2 hours. When i open it i can use it like 5 mins and it goes down again LOL

 

Being a Sythe user for a while now, I have noticed the same issues. I have a temporary solution: use a proxy to connect.

There are many websites, such as xite.ws, that allow you to connect to the site with less issues.

It may not work for everyone, but it gives you a cleaner connection, at least for me!
