Ill tell you the story...

Basically i have a rs twin, we were twins from level 3.. training at chickens to become obby maulers, this was like 4 months ago.. now we are higher and better then before.. i give everything to him when he asks for it.. like sometimes he wanna borrow claws etc.. he gives back ofc.. then today he asked to borrow claws and i gave it to him then 4 hours later he comes on msn and says to me someone wanna buy claws for dragon plate armour set (l) i was like ok do it accept.. then i think the guy quickly switched it to dragon chain.. and gf claws, 20m to 5m in less then a second :/ so now he tells me and i block and delete him off everything.. im i overreacting or did he disearve it for losing my claws :/

 

It's possible he made up the story, but I would of kept him added and seen what happened. Having friends to play with was the only thing that kept me playing rs.

Btw it's only a 15m loss, you can bot/buy that back pretty easily

 

nah he didnt make it up.. i logged on the acc 5 sec later, there was a dragon chain there.

 

I would say your overreacting a bit. Your friend is a bit stupid for falling for item switching scams. However, 15m loss isn't a big deal. You can easily PK that back within a few days

 

Well he could of still transferred the claws on to a diff account. If it was an honest mistake then just re add him. Just know for next time that he is stupid and you shouldn't give him expensive stuff lol

 

Learn from your mistakes dont give him anything again.

 

Well your friend is about as dumb as a box of rocks to fall for that, so make sure you let him know.

And you are overreacting way too much. 15M is hardly anything nowadays, you can make that back in a day easily. Unblock him and move on. Just never let him borrow anything, ever.

Also, you are positive he just didn't transfer the claws and put a chainbody on his account to make it look like a legit "he got scammed?" Pixels make kids do insane things..

 

That's really unfortunate, it would be better next time to just let you do the trading of items that are yours. I would say add him back and still be friends with him. As annoying as it can be, pixels over friendship is never a good thing.

 

Yes you're overreacting, it's only 20M.

 

If you think of it in dollar terms you lost less than $10. Is your friendship worth more than that?

You may be overreacting a bit, I would suggest, as many others do, to keep him as your friend, but if you're going to let him borrow items, do not let him sell them for what seems to be a good price.

15m isn't that much ( Well, to me it is, but it isn't worth more than a good friendship )

Say, if you got a job paying you $15/h or better, you'd make it up in an hour (Even though you should maybe let your friend work it up again )

Blocking a friend out of your RS life for 15m is definitely an over-reaction in my opinion.

 

Either by bot farm, or working IRL to get cash to buy mills. A McDonalds job is like, what, $6/h?

I'd say you overreacted, friends are what makes the game. He seems to be an innocent guy that fell for a dumb scam.

 

Just try and talk to him again and say you overreacted and in the future just use the lend feature in the trade instead.

 

Your story is disappointing and all, but it's more or less a rant which does not belong here.
