"Report a Scammer" automated system

Support, would be so much easier to report scammers.

 

1million% support lol. Basically all the topics they either just post someone scam them - only text, or its just pasted chat logs. Looks like they just get really pissed and dont bother to take the time to look at the rules and get them banned quicker. Hell even my first scam report I basically wrote a story haha.

 

Support. because, this will certainly help in reporting a Scammer easily and the efficiency of this site would increase

 

I've come to realize that the majority of suggestions that involve further coding usually don't happen. I 100% support this suggestion and believe that it will in the end save moderators more time then it will take them to code it however don't get your hopes up as mathew is very buisy and I don't see this being implemented any time soon.

I definitely support this, however, people would still get around it by just putting a space or "aasdfg" in the boxes if they didn't have the proof for it. I think it would be more organized, but in the end, I don't think it'd really change anything all that much. You'd still have a lot of scam reports that don't have enough proof.

Give them heavy infractions and a warning imo. This idea is such a simple concept and any who mistreat/misuse it deserve to be penalized.

Fail at the 3 people who checked 'no'? Clearly you don't know what it's like going through a slurry mess of countless reports each and everday, I mean from time to time I look at 2 or 3 and I'm like wow.., mad respect for Gohan and the other lmfao.

I clicked yes for this, the faster scammers get banned the better, nothing worse then filing a report, and the user continues to scam because the mess of reports before yours needs attention.

It would ALSO be nice, if like
If I report you for scamming (via your method that you are suggesting) it will show somewhere on your name (on all posts you make, kinda like a usertitle) "Pending Scam Reports: #" (# being how many people have reported you as scamming.)

But, I do support your suggestion.

 

Then why don't they simply do that now? The rules are in the sticky already, and they could easily give members infraction points if they didn't follow them, but they don't. I fail to see the point of the new layout if the same end result could be accomplished right now.

 

Support, I also suggest that when I user gets 2+ reports with enough things in the fields and similar stuff, they get TWC, in the case of more temp banned.

 

That would be so easy to frame someone with, a group of users could collaborate on using the same proof for many reports and slam the competition with a TWC.

As for the support for my idea, I'd like to thank you all, I think at this point it's up to the admins to decide whether or not this is done.

 

If this could be coded into the version of VB we have, then I would LOVE this.

Support, would this be like recovering a runescape account? You have sections to put pictures? Section for thread, profile, post.

The current system is just fine, though people really need to learn how to get enough proof to get someone banned.

 

If this is possible to be done, it should be. Would help the mods out, making the process of banning faster and more organized. Support.
