Trying to recover a very old account of mine.

I just tried and it said Denid. But it didn't give any reasons, if just said the information wasn't enough to confirm I was the original owner.

Does this mean I'm getting close?

 

No it basically means most of it was wrong

 

Yes and no, it does that automatically dependent upon amount of appeals I think.


Just keep trying, it once took me 28 tries to get an old account of mine that I had ALL of the info on.

 

Did you keep sending the same exact info or did you change things around. Also what did you write for the additional info part. I'm also having a hard time recovering a very old account of mine

 

Same here, I don't really remember anything of it, I remember it having bunny ears and was created around that date, no clue when :/

 

Yeah. I tried it yesterday with everything but the ISP since I don't remember.

It would come back Denied: Creation Details. So I spent some time finding the ISP and I put it in + I added the city it was made in in the notes (although the zip code was above it).

Then it just camed back Denied: No Reason. I think I am getting closer.

 

Does it have any other owners before/after you?

I remember recovering an old account of mine, I provided the oldest information I could think of.

 

I sent in the same time every time and was getting different responces back as to why it was denied.

I suggest changing the info around a little bit such as prev passwords question answers ect.

 

Currently attempting to recover an account from 2002, my brother's the original owner, and gave it to me. I shall make a thread and post if i do get it back, i believe it has quite a few rares/nice cash pile, but it got hacked so i'm not so sure.

 

You should just ask your parents what ISP you had at about the time of creation. It seems like it would be pretty hard for them to forget about something they sent a monthly payment for awhile, they'll surely remember.

 

First of all it could be that your account got wiped for inactivity when they cleared up a bunch of names a while back. It was like if you hadn't played for atleast a year and skills were under ... level your account became deleted.

Second my luck with something like this is supplying everything you can in the message part. If there are currently recovories on the account, but they are not the orginal recovories, post the orginal recoveries. Insert when about the account was created (month and year). Finally put in any stats or specific items/quest done.

 

If you created the account, you should know the ISP...

really? because when i made accounts in 2002 i had no idea what a isp was. most people who made acc's back then were like 10. and no one is going to remember what your isp was 9 years ago.

 

Try asking someone on BA.. they seem to know a thing or two about account recovering

 

I had the same problem, I just emailed the billing support team and they helped me recover it believe it or not

Just keep trying youve got a 50% chance of getting it if you have some of the right info.

 

Keep trying! Include anything you could remember doing on the account, I used to mention all passes/bank pins/quest points even cw tickets I gained, cause I had 1k+ of them, idk why but I did, I always seem'd to get my account back within 30minutes
