This shouldn't be a sticky

I'm referring to this thread here: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1035087

I'm not sure why it got stickied, this wasn't some email that paypal sent to everyone, I got one about a month ago that says the exact same thing except with an earlier deadline, as did Viou.

In summary, the message in this sticky applies only to the person who received it, and no one else, and should never have been stickied at all.

Alternatively, there could be a disclaimer saying "If you receive too many personal payments, paypal will send you one of these emails", but I don't think that really needs to be stickied since only a handful of people will wind up getting that email in their lifetime.

Thoughts?

 

Might still be good for users to see it, to be able to know what to expect.

 

I don't see the point of the sticky as it only applies to certain individuals. Support from me.

 

I think it should be stickied, and PayPal's policies should be enforced here as it's safer for everyone.

 

Yeah ok but the way it's presented atm is kinda misleading. For 99% of the people on this site, they will still be able to receive personal payments after that date

 

Support, it's only going to apply to people selling mass amounts of gold a lot.

 

Which is alot of people in the gold selling section fyi.

I have un-stickied it for the time being though.

Anyway, I'm satisfied that this sticky addresses enough people to be of significance. Hell, I rarely use the Market and it applied to me.
