You gotta love the admins.

Recently I go scammed by a person for my steam account. It was my only CS source account. I was really pissed. The admins didn't ban him fast enough otherwise I wouldn't have traded with him. I will say though he tried to create another account and the Admins on Sythe banned all accounts by him. I mean the admins know what they are doing and all members of sythe gotta love them. Even though i can never get my account back, at least these guys prevent other people from getting scammed.

Lol that's it was probably a mod who banned him not an admin, admins are more for the development of Sythe rather than dealin with bans, unless someone was being tricky, then they might get involved, anyway.. They still do a Good job yeh

 

Every staff member does what they can to prevent scamming, they have a lot on their plate with such a massive community and if they don't get to a member fast enough, it isn't their fault.


Its sad to hear you got scammed but I am happy to read you are thankful for the work they do.

That's not 100% on the admins and it's also your responsibility to make sure you're trading with someone that you want to do business with. It won't hurt you to prowl through a few of their forum posts/run a search on them in the future.

 

Agreed with USA. Next time you trade, perhaps you should do a background check on the player you are trading with. It could help you in the end.

 

You should always do a search on their msn address/sythe name, on google :/

 

Admins dont monitor that stuff they monitor the site....
Next, prowl around and lurk to find trusted sellers. Not just any random person.

 

well admins have lives outside of Sythe so their not always gonna be there right away. Just be thankful their actually helpful mods unlike other mods on other sites or games.

 

you know he can always create another account
next solution would be ip ban
but even then, he can change IPs

but if it makes you happy, that's all that matters

A majority of the admins keep doing their moderator duties from their last position throughout their career as a yellow

A couple of them actually have more logs than a good selection of moderators, too
