Ravers out there!

In a few months i am attending my first rave, i have been to many other events (festivals, bush doofs) but nothing close to what i am doing in the coming months. Pretty much i am just looking for some tips and that sort of thing. Any tips are welcome

i am looking at wearing candy bracelets and that sort of thing
Where abouts do you buy such things?
What types of things do you put on them?
Any other tips i need to know for raving?

Tips:
1. They are really fucking hot so wear some light clothing
2. There will be people selling water, glowsticks, energy drinks, ect. So don't worry about getting dehydrated
3. They are not for everyone. When I went I hated it. Ended up leaving early and paying 100$ for a cab. My point is try to have someway you can leave if you feel uncomfortable.

ah alright. idk how big the raves are there, the ones n cali can get up to like 150,000 people.

you'll see people with these white/black gloves on. when you're rolling, ask for a lightshow. BEST THING EVER




i was never into the bracelet thing, aka kandi.

just make sure you drink lots of water. probably will be like $5-10 a bottle though.

anything else in specific, just ask.

What kind of clothes specifically would be good for a guy?
at festivals i usually just wear a singlet and shorts but ravers seems to be more out there and wear bright colors ect

 

thats a pretty good line up. make sure you see alpha twins, seen them almost every rave ive been to.

every rave ive been to was outdoor and in LA. it gets pretty fucking chili at night so i wear jeans, a t-shirt, n a zip up hoodie. but then this one rave we were in the indoor part and it was so fucking hot.

idk how aussie style is but in LA people are crazy as fuck. the girls will basically wear bikinis, n it varies for the guys.

 

yeah i will make sure i see them. That's the thing i am not sure on because it will be a first time for me, i see the Kandi/candi as a good way to make friends because to be honest at the moment my life is pretty messed up

 

Honestly, I wouldn't accept anything form a stranger there, unless you are trying to get yourself fucked over. Never take drinks from strangers. Hell, I'd barely trust bottled water.

 

i wasnt planning on accepting any type of consumables, i am bringing my own into the event. Thanks for the advice though

Go stoned/rolling, and have your fucking mind BLOWN.

thanks man, ive always worn a tank top to festivals but was thinking something more bright coloured t shirt to a rave. Wasnt planning on buying pills from the event, im planning on doing that i always don't give a fuck what people think even at festivals as long as i enjoy myself. Thanks for the tips man they come in handy


Still looking at some tips to do with kandi/candy

 

Wear a meat-suit covered in glow-in-the-dark paint.

 

oh and the comedown is shitty as fuck, you'll be sore, and depending on how close you were to the speakers, your ears will be ringing for a day-week.

as for the kandi, most people make their own. then you trade them off to other people doing this shit with your hands. cant really explain the trade off, nor can i find any videos.

 

yeah i have come down before, went to armin only in melbourne and danced for 8-9 hours and didnt get any sleep. Only took me a few days to recover but it was all good fun.I have found some pretty clean ones which i dropped on the weekend. I'll be rolling on them again, they are the best i have found in several years so the comedown shouldnt be to bad

 

Bro if I where you I'd just forget about the kandi, honestly unless you're female it looks pretty stupid
