They have the right to, since USA has exploited Mexico in the past and helped USA become richer. Also USA has exploited Opium Trading in various countries in the 1800s. It's called equal rights, not that I'm against USA or Mexicans.

 

America can change it's foreign policy all it wants, that won't stop people who want to attack this country.

No, I mean like the military, whose job it is to protect this country. And, before you say it, no, I don't mean the TSA or any other government bureaucracies who have turned national security into a farce. In fact, I am in full support of turning all airport security over to the military, although that is for another topic.

 

I agree with you on some points. But you are saying ALL mexicans are scum, that's not right. All nationalities have some rotten pieces. Shooting is also not the solution.

 

I'm sure the military is involved in things it shouldn't be. I am also sure that it works around the clock to protect this country.

I would say they are doing a good job. After all, I am sitting here typing this, while major terrorist organizations are actively plotting to attack this country.

I am not asking for universal defense for the entire continent of North America. There are more countries than the United States here, and their defense is their own responsibility, not our's.

Once again, I am not here to apologize for anything the United States have done. Even if tomorrow, the United States made total amends towards any country we have wronged, and reverted to a system of Isolationism, there would still be people attempting to attack us. Terrorists are not after peace, they want to destroy those who do not agree with them. You cannot bargain with them. The only response is to stop them, with violence if necessary. It sounds mean, it sounds brutal, but there you have it.

The government is not allowing them to do their job. That is why there are thousands of miles of unguarded border. That is also why individual states (Arizona) are having to defend their own borders: The federal government will not do it.

I can guarantee you that if America got rid of this "liability", we would cease to exist. How could we? National defense is essential for any nation's survival.

What are the interferences you are referring to? As I look back at American activity in the Middle East, I am finding that a lot of this is stemming from the Iranian Hostage Crisis in 1979. What triggered that was Carter allowing the Shah American medical services, which I would hardly call "interference." You can trace the history from there.
