[approved] Discord Rules and Punishments

Describe the problem: in my opinion I think we are a little ban happy in the discord. I am not solely talking about my bans as the first one was deserved because I said a racist term that could put our discord in jeopardy.
What current rule(s) tackle this problem: N/A
Explain the change: I think we need to institute 24,48,72 hour mutes depending on how severe the persons actions are. If they at all jeopardize our discord then a perm ban is required.
Explain why this change will fix the problem: will keep active people in the discord for the long haul.
Side-effects: I don’t see any, but feel free to list them below. Also if @Andy needs me to be a discord moderator then just say that.

 

I’m sure our great moderators like @Hahanerd will be highly active and respond well to these additional duties

 

Any person who intentionally breaks the Discord Rules knowing they would only receive a temporary mute would just feed the trolls. This can all be avoided with simply following the set-rules in the first place. Anybody receiving a Mute/Ban obviously doesn't care about being in the Discord for the "Long-Haul" any way.

Discord is what 13+ a responsible age to follow simple rules. No support. Play with fire and ya get burned.
