Life after death

Hey guys, i was just going to ask what do you think truely happens after we die?

one day i was blazed with my friend and i thought about maybe we are all someone of the past, like when we die we are reborn as a baby having no remembrance what so ever of who we were in the past or of anything that happened, and we are born as a new human, like its an ever going cycle, because everyone thinks that Heaven is like the best place you could ever possibly be with peace and everything, to me Heaven would be just the fact of being alive. i would never want to be just a mere floating spirit not having no feelings or anything, so what do you guys think?

 

What you said is a paradox; if we are reborn into a new body, how can it be that the human population is increasing so that there are more people each day - wouldn't the number stay the same? As if someone dies, then a baby is born with their soul, what about the time between the baby growing inside the womb and you still being alive as your previous self - is that to suggest the baby doesn't have a soul until you die and are somehow transferred into it's body?

I don't know if that made sense to you, but it IS something I think about from time to time. There could be a God, implying that there is a heaven to go to in the afterlife. Or there could not be a God, and we simply fade into non-existence. Then you have some religious views that state you are reborn in a different body, but then where is the original source of everyone's soul and how can this account for increased populations? (refer to my first paragraph)

It's something based heavily on religious views - often manipulated by humans to take away that fear of "being nothing" when they die.

 

Personally, I think that there must be some type of life after death, don't know what it is or how I would put it. I just don't think that we can die, and then have nothing be after that. That's all there is to say.

Death really is the next level though, the forever unknown.

i understand what your saying spraynwipe, but i mean like the new people could be literally new people, and i think that really babies are lifeless until they come out of the womb

If we assume that humans have "souls" then yes, babies have life inside the womb. If what constitutes a person's "soul" is their personality and self awareness/conscience, then babies show both of these traits before they are born.
