    LOTR Trilogy

I just finished the LOTR trilogy on blueray HD last night. It's probably my 10th time watching the entire trilogy but the movie still has an emotional impact on me every time. I've never gotten so immersed in another movie, LOTR just really helps me escape and journey to middle earth.

I know this movie was a major success worldwide, but do any of you guys feel the same way? Or is it just a movie you enjoy.

I liked it, I wouldn't say its on my top 10 best favorite movies of all time but it's good none the less.

Also, please use the appropriate sections when posting there is already an area on the forums for movies.

    LOTR Trilogy

Same here, I felt like I was inside the movie. When I was like 9, at the end I started crying lol.
It made me feel that I knew the characters in real life. Lord of the Rings is amazing.

I feel the exact same way as you. I've probably seen it more than 20 times.

I tried watching one or two of them.
I couldn't get past the fact that each movie was like 4 hours long with 12 different endings.

if its any consolation I never watched harry potter either

    LOTR Trilogy

Seen it many times, did a LoTR marathon a while back. Recently there have been issues here in NZ over where the filming and production of the Hobbit will be, it was threatened to be filmed off-shore so our government had to pay the film studios out to keep it here.

By far my favorite series/trilogy. I just lent out all 3 extended versions of the movie to a friend.

I know the people who supplied the horses for the film, My grandfather done the crane work for the first movie, Sadly passed away before he got to do the second, Best trilogy movies hands down.

    LOTR Trilogy

All threw LOTR have Ben my favourite movies since they came out, I never get tired watching them. I pretty know them word for word, but there is a bad side to it, I want to know out of all the people in the world why they let frodo carry the ring... The biggest wimp on earth and they let him carry the ring, I was hoping Sam would slap him call him a fag and then take the ring off him.

You obviously don't have the attention span to understand what's going on then.

I camped out at the theater at midnight for every release. My father and I used to be really, really into it but it's sort of died down. I expect that as the release of The Hobbit P1 & P2 draws closer we'll get back into it.
