What was Sythe like back in '07? Were there reputable, active gold sellers or was there just a lot of people on their own selling gold off their accounts?

They most likely have a better rwting monitoring system or something like that I'm guessing. They wouldn't just add it back for no reason. At first, rwting will explode, but then there will be MASS bans. I fear the safety of my account right now tbh, I just bought quiet a lot of gold.

So basically, huge spike, massive drop, and then returning to current.

Price of gold will rapidly decrease as the number of people selling on the market will increase tenfold - this is because the main deterrent for people selling their gold and items here was the inability to trade them freely, as they needed to know an efficient gold transferring method.

I'm not exactly sure, but I know that the 07 market was as big as this site had ever seen. Hopefully this update could spark what was once a thriving black market. Time will tell.

Nah. This is going to attract so many players who joined post-summoning looking for gold as they would now believe it is possible to RWT. Prices will inflate.

I don't think so, If anything the prices will lower with free trade.

With free trade, any guy with a few mil can sell his money and doesn't have to go through loop holes, he doesn't have to search the web to buy some rip off guide that xfers a mil an hour only for the method to be patched a week later.

Maybe I'm underestimating the amount of people that will want it, but I think the supply will far exceed the demand.

Free trade was available when prices were above 3 bucks, sometimes even seven bucks a mill. Also, some old players may go back if they see them bring wilderness back along with free trade. Although I doubt it will be free trade like before.

I have friends that told me instantly as the update occurs they will be opening gold selling shops extremely cheap. This won't raise the prices, it will lower them. More supply than demand. Back then it was different. The economy has changed a lot in the past three years though. I don't care about gold prices. I just want to know what will happen to rares. Obviously gold prices will change. Hopefully they will lower. They will be much lower than you can imagine. People won't be worrying about hours and hours to transfer. Using the grand exchange, etc. It will be two minute trades and then it's done with. I ust want to know what will happen with the damn rares.

Who the fuck cares we will have old wildy back and all the shit loots will be gone !

Currency sales is not the olny way to make money on sythe.

The issue is that olny a few people know about gold transfering methods witch makes the price of one mil too inflated bringing back the old system will create a more fair Cash per Mil price =P

If your not voting because you wont make as much money #1 your wrong because the demand will be higher and the issue of trust will be gone because you wouldn't have to log onto the account's #2 Greed shouldn't motivate the sythe forums think about all the people who play runescape for pking o_O this is like the change from " Fagex " to " jadex " again.

    VOTE YES - www.runescape.com/wilderness !

It wont be a two minute transfer. They will obviously monitor the trades heavily if its free trade as before.. Rares should go up as the value of GP decreases. Although I still have reason to believe the economy wont be much different from before.

    A. rares are dropping like crazy
    B. I don't mean what will happen to sythe, I mean what will the business be like
    C. GP is going to be .5/m
    D. GP will not be made as easily, merchanting will be gone, at least buyouts will. The thing is even if buyouts were still possible, it be hard to get rid of stock because rares are dropping
