    Computer question

I am in the market for a new computer and I have been looking around and comparing prices and I have a few questions. There are two computers I am looking at right now and they are roughly the same price but I am not sure witch one is "better" if you will. Ill post the specs of both and if you could post your opinion that would be great.

    Code:
    Intel® Core™ i7-870 processor
Features an 8MB cache and 2.93GHz processor speed.
    Intel® Core™ i7 processor
Features 8-way processing for ultimate smart performance. Intel® Turbo Boost Technology automatically speeds up your processor when your PC needs extra performance.
    8GB DDR3 SDRAM
For multitasking power, expandable to 16GB.
    Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive
    Create custom DVDs and CDs.
1.5TB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 rpm)
    For fast read/write times.
    ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics
Feature 1GB GDDR5 dedicated video memory for lush images with stunning detail.
    Code:
    Intel Core i5 650 3.2GHZ Processor
    8GB DDR3 Memory
    1GB ATI Radeon 5770
Intel core i5 has more ghz then the i7 but witch is better? I am a bit confused as I am not very familiar with this kind of stuff, thanks for your time.

Note: I plan on using this computer for botting.

    Computer question

Get the first one(Core i7), just buy a better heatsink with a fan and overclock it if you want. Just make sure you get a good heatsink with a fan or else it might overheat.

You also won't see too much of a difference between lets say a Core i7 at 2.93GHz versus the same Core i7 at 3.2GHz. You'd probably see a little bit of a performance, but it's not really noticeable.

Also, Core i7 will always be better than the Core i5, in most aspects, so get the Core i7, don't bother with the Core i5 system.

    Computer question

I second 1337Neo's opinion. The Core i7 would be so much better than the Core i5. The second option doesn't seem to have a very detailed amount of specs to compare it with though.

To be honest it all depends on what you're using it for. No point in getting top-market hardware if all you're doing is playing Runescape lol :p

    Computer question

I'm guessing the first one is more expensive? If money isn't an issue for you then get it but if you're just running RuneScape Bots then the second will be fine.

    Computer question

The first one is better, and to 1337neo, he won't be able to OC it if it's an OEM machine(dell, acer, etc) Since the BIOS is usually locked.

The i5 is only a dual core, while the i7 is a quad core. The first one will be better, and can easily play other games(COD, Battlefield etc) on some good settings. :)

:'D. The second one is easily powerful enough to handle enough bots, but if they're both about the same price.
