Has anyone ever felt so bad for someone

I've never actually felt this bad for someone, I always gave myself troubles for random things, but I'm at the library doing an essay, and I looked beside me and there's a person who is in his mid 20 - 30's , and he honestly looks like he has a physical issue..
I don't know why, but like. I feel bad =/
Like I've always wondered, what is it like to have no one you can be close to and just hang out with, I've seen this person here countless times at random times in the day.

& There's also an old asain man in his mid 70 - 80's who works at mcdonalds full time, he's been there for years, never been promoted, and slaves his ass off..

I don't know why but I honestly feel so bad =/

Yeah. Some people are less fortunate then others. Sometimes there's really not much they can do to make their situation any better, and it's sad.

I've seen people's lives get ruined over stupid things that couldn't really be prevented.

 

Yes, I'm having close to the same thing about the man working at McDonalds that's in his mid 70's to 80's. There's this man that works at a McDonald's and he looks like he's in his 50's to 60's, I always see him cleaning the floor and et cetera, hopefully he gets a promotion or a raise.

I feel this way all the time. Sadly, yesterday I didn't feel any sympathy though for a homeless lady that was stoned out of her mind who went and almost assaulted a tourist right in front of the Navy Memorial. That's just wrong...

 

I always feel bad when i see someone i consider old working a job like behind a counter at Hyvee or Hen House, especially at fast food places.

 

sometimes when i see people like you described, i feel a sense of pity and sadness too.

I honestly used to feel terrible about this one girl I work with. She's around 22 and was severely made fun of/bullied all throughout school and never had many friends. She's average looking, but can be pretty annoying, which is why she has never gotten much attention from guys.

She started to like me quite a bit last year, and I had to let her down after everything she had been through her whole life...I felt like I was just another disadvantage to her already sinking life.

But, she became friends with one of my other friends at work who is pretty damn popular at my school, so she's now hooked up with all sorts of connections, goes to parties and such, and has a boyfriend who loves her and treats her nicely. What's great is that it hasn't gotten to her head either, she's still the same nice, annoying girl I knew from before xD

 

YES. When I was in high school my freshmen year. This girl in my grade who I would say is average looking. She is very skinny, very nerdy looking, but such a nice person. We all were let out of class and she was walking down the hall with arms full of books and she ended up tripping up and falling over throwing her books everywhere and knocking her glasses off. A lot of people do this but, instead of just walking past her or helping her, a group of douchebags crowded around her and laughed at her till she cried. I felt so bad and mad at those people I could've started cracking skulls.

 

I get it a lot while I'm at work. People come in with disabilities and other issues and I feel terrible for them. One time I even put in a discount for a man with no legs just because I felt so bad for him. (Which I'm not exactly supposed to do.)

 

Even though i believe in karma, i have grown to realize that feeling sorry / empathy for others gets you no where in this life. It's a sad reality, but it is what it is.

 

Yes, there is a janitor at my school and he is like incredibly nice to any one but all these people just like don't respect him and don't treat him even like another person at the school. He is just like the bottom of the food chain and I don't really know why. I have talked to him a few times and he is pretty funny and like ubers nice but when ever I see people dis-respecting him I just feel really bad inside.

 

Most of the old people you see working "McJobs" are retired and make much more than us younger adults and aren't expected to work hard. Also: many of these people would be mortified if they knew what you thought of them.

 

yea i get that too, there was this kid at school. His mother killed herself and he was the first person to walk in and see it. After that he got pretty messed up and before he was really good student and all. I over heard this guy talking to his friends "you know why ****'s mom killed herself? cuz **** is a little douche bag." I felt so bad right then as his friends were laughing. I swear i wanted to kill that guy then

 

Yeah, I feel bad for those homeless people who have signs that are like "some change to eat, good bless you" I normally don't stop and give them anything but I feel bad, especially for the ones who are on the streets because they are war veterans or had a crazy ex-wife. For those people I just feel terrible.

 

I feel bad sometimes, but there are some people that use their physical diseases or dissabilities as an advantage to make you feel bad and give money. Whenever I go to the U.S. in the mexican part of the bridge to Texas, there are hundreds of people like this, and there are also some that really need the money, the hardest part is to tell whether they are trying to make you feel bad or their pain is for real...
