New characters?

Just tried to make a new character - didn't ask for the log in name instead just asks for the email and password. And you log in with the email. WTH?!

And then when I try to log in I get an error. Anyone else getting this?

 

They changed the way you log in, new accounts from today and further will log in with their email not ingame username.

 

That's a major pain for account sellers.

Not sure..All i know is it said that accounts created after Nov. 24 should use email. I'm thinking you put a character name in while the tut. or something? Like you spawn and that guy is like "Hello, sir! What's your name?" hahah.

 

For real, evil fagex. But seriously - ugh. Oh well guess I'll have to create an email for every character down the road. I have like 10 characters that I can use up first though so it'll be a while before I'll need that. I guess they also just want each person to have one character since obviously you wont be able to make multiple characters with one email.

Yeah, it will be a major pain for account sales. But also possibly safer, as the e-mail could provide an extra layer of protection.

Only good thing from this is that accounts with good names that were never used will be available now

I probably won't be starting any more new accounts to sell. I've been always looking for a reason to stop though. This email registration sounds like it would be a hassle. Too bad I lost tons of 06' new accounts last re-install.

 

I didn't know you aren't allowed to have multiple accounts...? Why would they make a 1 account per email limit?

 

Well you log in with the email... so how the hell can you log to accounts in with the same email, lol.
