question bout banned account rs

my runescape acc got banned for macroing in 2008 or 2009
they had a different policy then
i forgot the password also
is there anyway i can get it back?
it had 92 wc and 90m

 

try and recover forgotten password or stolen password to get the password back and then try appeal ban?

 

For macroing I doubt they will accept a appeal but it can't hurt to try. Just make a forgotten password recovery

I agree with Classics that there a slim chance of getting it back. But it wouldn't hurt to start with a forgotten password appeal and go from there.

 

as long as you know some of the oldest information of the account you should get it back but if you dont its gonna be very difficult

 

i have changed password on it more then ten times
but i know all of them and all of the info so i could get the password back ok i understand that

but does my account even tho its banned stil exists somewhere ?
i used my 90 m to buy 9 santas at the time and im burning with curiosity how much he is worth now
so i will try recover pass but its still baned how can i get it unbanned ?
i mean jagex gives 1000's of botters 2 chances these days but back in the days i only got 1 chance know what i m ean they might consider this

I have an account from early 09 that's banned, and it'll always be banned because appeals can't be submitted anymore for it. And the ones that were submitted never got read. Just got the usual automatic denial message

I'm thinking since it was banned before the change, that you can't get it back. :'( I'm in the same boat with my skiller. Sorta.

If it was banned in '09, Jagex was perma banning macros w/o any consent in August to December.

 

i prolly just should give it up but im too stubborn xD
the name doesnt appear in hiscore anymore so i guess its swiped or something
can remember reading some similar like giving out banned hacker names to be used again

i know a runscape account is easy to remake
but its behaviour of a human being to keep love for something they put time in

If you got banned for macroing less then ~3 years you wont get it unbanned for macroing, its a strict policy and they only ban you in the first place if they're 100% sure you were cheating.

 

Just harrass them through email like i did. I have over 30 blackmarks and i still can play.
