Voted for the first one. Nice composition, but I don't really like the rest of it :S Not sure why.

But the second one seems like a render + C4ds.. and that's about it.

 

Read up on some tutorials, It's really complex to put into words atm. Deviantart.com has a lot of tuts.

 

I voted for the first one, they're both good, just all in all the first one wins. The blending is what caught my eye.

 

I honestly didn't like either one but I voted for the first one because the second one had a lot of problems with the contrast along with some missing pieces. I feel like the second one took a lot more work to make though and had a better idea than the first.

 

Voted for #1. Better use of colors than the other entry.

 

#1 just appealed to me more, the subltinity (if thats a word xD) in colors just works better IMO

They're both alright, but yeah my favourite was the first one. I really liked the use of graphic effects in the second one, if you used more edged & points, I think it could be improved.

Second 1 in my opinion is amazing

 

First one for a few reasons.

I like the second one and it looks good dont get me wrong, its just the use of to many C4Ds where as more time and effort i believe has been put into the first one

 

Blend the c4d's better in #2 and maybe sharpen it a bit, just looks a little to plane to me. And #1 i just dont like it, i think you smudged it a little to much. I like how the colors meet well with the focal there is just something i do not like about it, anyway i got with #1 it has a lot more depth to it #2 just looks like a stock with a c4d thrown on the side of it. Good job both of you.
