How much do you think someone would pay for this?

An facebook account with a lot of friends, Are they worth anything for marketing purposes?

 

I can imagine it now.

"Just posting that I now offer Torso services on the game, Runescape. Please don't spam, or I will delete you from my friends list."

Honestly, I can't offer a price. But it's nice, if slightly strange.

Their worth depends on location of freinds, amount, real people. Their useful in marketing.. especially if you do refferal links.

Not really no. People will just block and delete you if you keep advertising, it's pretty annoying.

Actually, people laugh but I'm sure it could. It would have to have a few thousand friends to be worth a good amount and they would all have to be real but none the less. Could be useful for advertising especially when making a fan page and such.

 

I think you could probably get 25$ for it I imagine. And in the process, the buyer would completely be posing as yourself and in effect more than likely ruin your facebook reputation amongst your family/friends/whoever you have added. Unless of course you posted ficticious info to create it in the first place.

 

Probably not a whole lot. I'm pretty sure there are some bots out there that add people randomly on facebook. Besides, it wouldn't take long to search something like 'Smith' and click add as friend to all the results.

 

They are random friends, My brothers a bit of a nerd and added a lot of random friends. So I don't care about them posing as me. Was just curious if people actually pay for accounts like this.
