D claw pure question.

Im in the process of making a d claw pure and i planned on having 1 def, but on accedently got it up to 8, am i best off leaving it at 8 or getting it a little higher, and ifso where should i get it to and why? thanks for you help.

what exactly is turm and zerk mean? i havent played rs in years and just getting back into it

Turm= turmoil, which is part of the new prayers and reqires 95 Pray, but its boosts are incredible (it also loosely refers to the ability to use Soul Split also, which is a 92 prayer).

Zerk=zerker pure, which is a pure whose defense has been at least 95% quested to 45. Be careful not to actually train defense on Zerkers, as many of the quests required raise defense.


Collectively, the term refers to a zerker pure who utilizes the Ancient Curses while PKing (really the only useful curses are Soul Split and Turmoil). These are extremely hard accounts to make because 95 prayer is about 170m; they need at least 176 QP to have the best gear; they cannot ever train defense; and they generally require near-maxed strength to be effective. They are also very difficult to PK with, but they are very rewarding. Nowadays, most zerkers also have 80 Dungeoneering to use the Chaotic weapons and/or have completed the Grandmaster Quest, The Void Fights back for the new sword.



On topic to your original question: You have the option of making an Initiate Pure (quite an underrated pure type IMO) with that account (20 defense, some of it quested), but that's about it. It can't tank because the attack and str. Honestly, though, 60 att/str isn't too hard. It wouldn't be too bad if you restarted... you'd just have lost the $4 for the membership.

 

Restart if you don't have alot of cash on it.
60 attk/61 str takes 2-3 days max to bot.

get to 20 defence and make an initiate pure if you dont want to restart. other wise i suggest restarting if you want an effective 1 def pure

 

dont make an initiate pure, they suck. Go get a Korasi's sword.

Do Nature's Spirit quest and get 20def.
Then do some of RFD and get rune gloves.

 

10 def for black pure, 20 def at MOST

 

I suggest questing to your def to 40-45 to make a zerker pure. You CAN also get 95 prayer (or 92..can't remember) for turmoil, which helps a great deal. Or you can go ahead and go 10-20 def (preferably quested).

try get 20 def with rune gloves and 91 str and then gl rushing with statius and claws

 

get 10 def then,or dont get any.

 

make it 20 def or quest for turmoil which will make u about 30 def.

 

Honestly I would restart. Depends how hardcore you are for pking. And how long it took you to train the account.

 

I'd say getting 10 def would be ur best option

 

personally i would make it 10 def and be a badass wearing black gold while pking or i would just start over, lol how the heck did you get 8 def? >.<
