New Job

So currently I am working in a call center for Apple iPhone Technical Support, Currently the job pays from $9.00-$17.60 a hour. Full Benefits and what not.
But just lately I'm like Bleh and its a 30 minute commute when i get a ride from a co-worker, But With the new schedule Change coming I probably won't have a ride anymore so Ill be using public transit which takes about 1.5hrs to get there, and then 1.5hrs to get home -.- Super pain in the ass, and I've only worked here since March.

So my friend recently left and he is Currently working for Netflix, which pays $13 per hour, full benefits and what not, Commute would only be about 15 Minutes in a car, and about 45mins with Public transit.

I would definitely look into the Netflix job, but not quit the other before your guaranteed a spot considering you don't want to be unemployed.

 

If you can go do what your friend's doing, go for it lol. Both are pretty shitty jobs imo.

 

Age? Is it just a temporary job?

 

If you have had the Job at Apple From March I would Stick With that.

I travel By Plain 4 Hours Every 2nd week to get to work, I had to find a place to stay but its worth it as I have been working for this company for about 6 Months.

If you go to netflix you May get Sacked or you may not like it.

If you like the Place your in atm Keep that If not Take other one.

Transport should be the least of your worries tbh.

 

New job without a doubt, But be sure to keep all your options open man ;]

 

Make sure you have a position there at Netflix before making the move final.

 

Yes, before I would quit I would make sure I passed the interviews and made sure that I had the position.

Eh its only shitty because of the Commute, when I ride the bus it adds up to 60hrs a month of just being on the bus.

Choose the job you enjoy the most. I rather it take 1.5 hours to get to work for a job I can stand, than 15 minutes to a job where the 8 hours seems like 20.

 

Why not work at Footlocker? You get like 12-15 bucks a hour, 1% commission on everything sold, employee only sales (that is how I make big cash), and friends/families benefits?

 

Personally I feel I would like either job, I like working at apple for the technical aspect and what not, but also I feel netflix would be just a enjoyable work place.

Personally thats not really the area of work I'm interested in, more looking for a job that you have to some type of technical troubleshooting.

I'm Calling Netflix back to day on my lunch, which may possibly do a interview. Will update in a few hours on how it goes.

 

Who's to say that netflix will even let you work for them

 

I have a 40 min bus ride to school. I quite enjoy it actually.. Gives me time just to sit there and do fuck all but think about stuff and listen to music. In the holidays I start to miss it..
