Global Warming?

How exactly does global warming work, Green house gases they say cause it. They say Carbon Dioxide is a main part, but is carbon dioxide heavier than air? How exactly does it get that far up in the atmosphere?

I've heard rumours about people saying global warming is a conspiracy, and that may be the reason why the government are more heading towards 'climate change' now.

What are your thoughts?

 

Global Warming is the warming of the OVERALL Earth. When greenhouse gases are released in the atmosphere, they stay there. The sun's rays passes through them and comes to earth. However, the greenhouse gases do not let them escape from Earth's atmosphere. Therefore, trapping the rays and warming the planet.

 

It's no longer called Global Warning. They've officially changed it to Global Climate Disruption. They thought that the original word made it seem less then it really was.

I don't know if you know this but Global Warming is completely natural and is a process that's been proven to take place on planets other then our own. It's nothing new.

Though i think that we are accelerating the process by the amount of garbage we release into our atmosphere, even if we hadn't polluted the air so much and didn't advance enough to do so the earth would of still gone through it's natural processes "Global Climate Disruption" being one of them.

 

I understand that it is supposed to happen, but we've watched a few things on it in class with Al Gore.. and he seems to overplay it largely, accusing us of creating the effect entirely.

The question was more related to this - being is the governments explanation of why its happening and what is happening really what they say it is?

 

I dont no much about it but by watching news you get a pretty good Idea.

Reports have shown that it's only the peninsulas of the ice that are melting, and the central parts are still thickening. Also, it's been said that the ozone is disappearing? Aren't these both reasons why global warming isn't all they say it is?

 

Well yes, there going to say its alot bader then it is for the facthere trying to stop it.

I Think it's all a bunch of bull...

i don't believe in Global warming whatsoever, just my opinion i guess.
