    • Describe the problem: Sales threads have a lot of bump-noise. Autobumping thread owners bump without actually being available.
    • What current rule(s) tackle this problem: Limiting bumps. Restricting autobumpers.
    • Explain the change: Thread owners should not post "bump" if there is an inquiry on the thread, they should respond.
    • Explain why this change will fix the problem: Pretty straightforward, you incentivize thread owners who are active and engage with the community. It's like a very soft captcha.
    • Side-effects: People who paid for autobumping privileges may ask for a refund. From what we've seen in polls though, they are usually in favour of rules against autobumping.

    Closing - it's worth noting that if someone bumps & does not respond within a reasonable amount of time via their designated communication platform to please report it so staff can start taking action.
