Nothing changes but the properties of the hole: What it contains, perhaps.. What set properties does this "hole" have? Is it infinitely expanding? Does it have volume? Space? Or is it much like a black hole in space?
Nothing, it's a contradiction in terms. Both object and hole are defined in terms of the abstraction: "finite volume". It's no more correct to say "infinitely large object" than it is to say "square circle". By virtue of being an object it is not infinite; and likewise, by virtue of being infinite it is not an object. Same goes for hole.
