    but by definition infinite is never ending, so how can a never ending object fit into a hole of any kind

    Nothing, it's a contradiction in terms.

    Both object and hole are defined in terms of the abstraction: "finite volume".

    It's no more correct to say "infinitely large object" than it is to say "square circle". By virtue of being an object it is not infinite; and likewise, by virtue of being infinite it is not an object. Same goes for hole.
