Dispute for ban evasion.

The reason for my ban is that Sythe believes I am Syed. I don't know very much about this person, other than Sythe doesn't want him on his forums. Before I begin, first let me say that I tried to make this as organized as possible.

.Karl reported me in this thread, after Syed said he was me. I don't know why Karl targeted me as soon as he joined, or why Syed said what he did. Syed is known for being a troll. Why would anyone take what he says seriously?

As for proof; I've not been told what I can provide to prove I'm not someone else. The only thing I can could think of was an IP search. Sythe and Matthew did this and both times they didn't match. Syed an I are from different countries as well. These were taken Sun, 19 Sep:







He is from Canada, I'm from the United States. We are using two different service providers, as well. This should eliminate any thought that I am still him.

I was immediately banned from the Sythe IRC when Karl posted his thread, which left me unable to defend myself, or take part in any conversation happening regarding myself.

In the screenshot Karl posted, Syed is asking for accounts and login tokens to use the Sythe IRC. I didn't need to do this because I was already on the Sythe IRC. Karl is obviously trying very hard to get rid of ban evaders, flaunting the number of people he's gotten banned. It's actually 3-4, out of the other dozen or so threads he's created. Most were obvious evaders and some of them were the same people. No proof was presented to make certain the others were evading bans. It's obvious that Karl is getting ahead of himself too often:

I don't see why my case should be different. Sythe has targeted me on the assumption that I'm someone he dislikes. I've never trolled or broken any rules to make anyone dislike me. It's unfortunate that I am a defensless victim, and shames me that this even happened.

I hope this dispute is taken seriously, and not ignored because of personal disagreements. Thank you.

 

I saw it advertised in someones signature. I can't remember specifically who it was.

 

I've had both Syed and Hawley in GhsotsIRC simultaneously on occasion. They don't act like the same person and the evidence suggests that they are in fact two people.

Hawley should be unbanned.

EDIT: Just did some digging, it seems that Syed has been connecting from a Bell (Canada) DSL host and Hawley from a Comcast (USA) DSL address.
The evidence suggests that they are indeed different people. I don't know why he was even banned in the first place.
