[DENIED] Requesting a sticky in the RAS section

PlayerAuctions gets their own stickied market discussion thread and Sythe Staff have regularly said that if you are upset with PlayerAuctions decisions bring it up and sort it out with PlayerAuctions. It would seem only fair then to let me have a stickied post saying

I you've been scammed by PlayerAuctions (like i was), per their Terms of Service you can dispute their decisions in arbitration. I can recommend an attorney that has taken them to arbitration.

Otherwise people will be dissuaded to get a proper resolution if they disagree with PlayerAuctions actions. Which as previous mentioned Sythe Staff refuse to mediate. I can confirm from personal experience and can provide evidence to show that PlayerAuctions will claim their decisions are final and binding but that is not true. Per PlayerAuctions Terms of Service you can dispute their decision through California based Arbitration and as a consumer you are not required to pay any arbitration fees. PlayerAuctions is. Im willing to bet alot of people who have been scammed think it will cost them alot of money to fight PlayerAuctions decisions but that is simply not true.

Thats why I am requesting to have a stickied post. Letting people know if they are upset with PlayerAuctions decisions I can recommend an attorney that has taken them to arbitration and will be able to understand the situation rather quickly.

Playerauctions Support is a joke

I know ive seen at least 1 other one but I cant find it where Staff said simply to bring your disputes to the Market Discussion thread. "The police have investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing". Alot of people I talk to say that PA is a scam and that they have been scammed through their platform. Whenever people ask me about selling on PlayerAuctions I warn them as a new vendor you will absolutely get scammed several times before you earn a reputation there because PlayerAuctions does not handle disputes with new vendors apropriately. As I said if Staff refuse to mediate the disputes between Sythe users and PlayerAuctions then I think my sticky is warranted. Especially because PA likes to claim you have no recourse for their decisions and that is not true. Its extremely sketchy that PlayerAuctions is allowed to misinform people about their options.

Then you end up like the guy with the scam report 2 years later because he didnt think he had any recourse, and the mods shut him down.

Staff, ask me privately for 3 more screenshots (provided to Kanye already) regarding other vendors who do not want to be named as they fear retaliation.

 

When you actually do something about it, and post a step-by-step guide, with your own results, then I'll support it. As of now, I wish you best of luck to explain your situation to these government wage slaves what you were even trading, without being looked at like an idiot.

The good news for you is, as a consumer, you do not have to pay any of the costs of arbitration to do said explaining. PlayerAuctions does. Many people probably think the same as you but in reality it wont be as bad as you think. Thats exactly why I am requesting this sticky.

 

Support. It is always nice to let those harmed know of their potential options to become whole.

 

I am currently about to initiate another arbitration this time without legal representation as I believe PlayerAuctions failed to pay me $20,600 between 2019 and 2022. My attorney has explained what I need to do and I will happily write a guide on how to do it yourself afterwards. My previous case was about my suspension which required legal help but this is basic simple math and some excel commands. I have an excel sheet of my gross sales before fees, when I calculate fees, and i compare it to what was ultimately received in my bank account. The numbers do not match by a total of $20,600.

I have been given the number of a Forensic Accountant if I need him but he charges money so I will wait to utilize his services as I already had a friend independently come to a similar conclusion when given my raw data.

 

I will use this post to compile my progress on filing a Consumer Demand for Arbitration against PlayerAuctions where one does not obtain legal representation. My case is only worth $20.6k and lawyers/forensic accountants are expensive so I am going to go it alone for now.

Per PlayerAuctions Terms of service, specifically Section 13.2 and 13.3. Despite PlayerAuctions saying their decisions are Final and Binding, that is not the case. If you do not agree with PlayerAuctions decisions you can dispute their actions with the AAA (American Arbitration Association). Furthermore, despite Section 13.4 stating that the maximum PlayerAuctions will pay for damages is $100. It is against the AAA's rules to do so and PlayerAuctions will be forced to waive that clause during arbitration. You will receive everything you are owed if you win the case. You are NOT capped to a $100 reward for damages. Finally, as a consumer you are NOT obligated to cover the cost of arbitration. PlayerAuctions is. The AAA requires thousands of dollars to arbitrate a case, meaning PlayerAuctions will have to foot that whole cost Furthermore, PlayerAuctions legal consultant is based out of New York. While their terms of service dictate you must take them to California based arbitration. This means if they want to fight your case with legal representation they will have to hire outside legal help at an hourly rate. Very expensive.

Then you are going to need to file a claim with the AAA. you can do that here Simple File this will cost $225 so if you got scammed $50 you are out of luck unless you simply want to file a case anyway to document the issue. This is the only fee you will have to pay.

As a warning, I am certain they will ban you for doing this, so only use it after you plan to never use their website again.

I am currently waiting for my case to progress to update this post. I dont think I can legally add actual details about the case once it starts, but so far I am simply providing instructions to help as I prepare to file my claim.
