Nextgen lite theme released as new default

The default theme is still the old one for me.

It looks really nice, except the ads now really stick out, and look ugly.

 

This new theme is good in some way - I like how it stretches to the edges like the old one.

 

It automatically switched everyone to this, your profile default is the new one, the default theme in the selector is the old one, however.

I like this, quite a bit. I think I'll stick with it!

 

I changed it back to the old default , looks better IMO. Simplicity at its best.

 

I might suggest one thing, however. The header backgrounds (like where it says quick reply, the date, the names of the forums like our community, etc) should be darker, they really stick out too much and just don't flow with the design.

 

To change it, go to the little thing on the bottom left hand corner that is a drop down box and there is 4 styles.

I like this new theme besides the part on the top. That is above the banner.

Whoha, good job; not too sure who made the background, but if you could get them to border the zone where advertisements come on Top and it'll look even better than it's looking already

I don't like it much, because I don't have the "Your User at a glance" box. I really liked that one. I'll stick to the normal Nextgen.

Looks alot cleaner and brighter.

 

If I could suggest the renaming of the themes, I'd suggest the below.

• Default Style - Sythe.org Old
• Mobile - Mobile
• NextGen Lite - Forum Default
• NextGen - Default Plus

 

I probably sound very new, but how do I change to view the three themes?

 

If the size of the Nextgen lite theme is kept low, I'd use it as my default iPhone theme, as I myself find Sythe Mobile sadly lacking. You're going to remove the old Sythe theme though? I think many people still love it and a lot of them still use it, as they prefer that to NextGen.
