Is it me...

Is it me... or did Wrath Of The Lich King pass by so fast? I mean I'm still in naxx gear and Ulduar still seems to new to me. What do you guys think?

 

Well it's prob your realm has a low to none progression but my realm is doing ICC25 hard modes. Personally my gear is only good for icc25 wrath according to a lot of people was bad all together cata is suppose to fix that.

 

Pretty much what Male said. My realm is doing ICC 25 hard modes but has not fully completed it yet. What is your realm btw slick?

 

WoTLK came out while I was on break for a long time. I've just returned recently, but it still seems like it's been a long time. I don't get much gear in the Guild I'm in currently, but I'm ICC25 raid capable, which is all that matters to me.

If you're still in Naxx gear, I'm quite surprised. It's hard for me to even get a group together to do Naxx unless it's the weekly. Also, I don't understand how you would be in Naxx gear when you can easily upgrade quickly by running random heroics each day, purchasing Tier 9 and 10 sets, among other things. (Free ring in ICC as well.)

 

I'm in a medium filled realm and there's a lot doing ICC, I'm also capable of doing ICC raid and our guild does the weekly run.

I've only been playing for a few months, and have always been used to the 2 expansions, so I guess I can't really say if it's gone quick or not, because I don't know different

 

Most people on my realm have done ICC 25 heroic and are really picky about who they get in their group. I hit 80 like a week ago and I've been struggling to find a group for ToC because everyone likes people with pro gear. Sucks.

 

You can basically skip and forget about the following raids due to badges ''TOC'' ''Uld'' ''OS'' ''Naxx''.

I can say Toc might just might give you those pieces you will be missing due to badges not being able to give you every piece you need. But about time you get full T9 you should only need maybe a trinket,weapon,ranged or wand depending on your class.

 

Ahh, it did go by fast. Our server downed 25m HM LK a few months back. I'm not looking forward to Cataclysm.

 

the only thing i do not like about cata is alliance are getting a beast-type race and the cap is only 85, instead of 90 (where it should be) blizz is jsut delaying endgame, where they said the final level cap will be 100

 

All current gear will be considered garbage when everyone hits 85. Sucks to think that all that hard work will have been for nothing.

 

Not really true Some will still be BIS depending on the piece. For example Spark of life being a 200 item is BIS for resto shamans til they can get an ICC piece or a 245 solstice trinket.

Wrath did go considerable fast due to everything being a AOE fest til bosses. But in cata you will have a need for CC on almost every pull or you will most likely wipe. They are delaying the game by raising the cap to 85 instead of 90 players are now to the point where it takes 1-2 weeks to down a new raid content. Blizzard simply can't keep dishing out new content so they will slow down progression and make leveling more meaningful.

Some players go from 1-70 without knowing what talents/spells or skills do because it was simply never needed. I ran into a level 65 prot paladin that used kings instead of sanctuary because it gave more hp. Then complained about being low mana every pull. After i told him to use sanc he bashes me for telling him how to play his class. But towards the end he read his tooltip and didn't have mana issues but still bashed me how telling him how to play his class.

 

I Also agree but look at it this way there are no other type of beings the alliance can get without them being either entirely new or beast like. If they invent a new race they must give horde the same treatment and because the alliance did get a cooler race/racials they gave horde more land and we took ashenvale from the elves which alone is very stupid lore wise.

 

Wrath sucked and Cataclysm will too. In vanilla, the game appealed to a more older audience, because of the effort it took to achieve things. With TBC, Blizzard decided to make the game appeal to a younger audience, so everything went downhill from there. The amount of people who play WoW is only decreasing, not increasing, mainly because it's become suckish and if you play your cards right you can beat most content in 2-4 weeks only.

When I first hit 80, the first thing I did was spam random heroics. I managed to obtain my full set of T9 with gems and enchants in only 2 days. The day after that I was running ToC10 and got a couple runs through Uld 25, got new gear and right away was able to do first 4 in ICC10. That's after a week.

Wrath sucked, it felt really long like BC, and Cata will be the same because Blizzard apparently doesn't like change when it comes to WoW. If you want a good game to play, check out Diablo 3 or Guild Wars 2. I know I'm going to get addicted to both

 

Explain your reasons to why wrath and cata will suck. Bc wasn't horrible to me at all wrath was weird to me at first and when they released loldeathknights i thought it was retarded after that.

BTW @ blupig we need to talk on guild wars i was thinking of buying the game.

 

I Just came back to Wow after a year. You can get Triump badges now in Heroics lol.. remember back in the days used to get them from ToC

 

WotLK has been too slow I think, once you hit hard mode content you pretty cut your connections with everything except Dalaran, one major city and the raids themselves.

I'm looking forward to leveling 1-60 with the new quests/zones more then I am any new 80+ content.
