Purchased accounts survey

Hey fam, I am curious to those of you who are account buyers. I am very curious about the overall security of purchased OSRS accounts in general. This is not specific to Sythe.

Please answer the poll once for each account you can remember the details of. Specify how long you had it before it got recovered, or specify that it did not get recovered.

I think most are recovered after a few months

 

i bought 2 accounts two years ago from two different providers. none recovered yet

 

I bought some accounts back in the past always recovered between 1-3 months. They give me time to progress, feel secure and add wealth to them.

 

I’ve bought a lot of accounts over the years. Many were recovered, and many were not. If you use some common sense in your purchasing process, I truly believe that you can expect to keep an account indefinitely.

 

I agree although assuming we are talking about the same criteria, I do think it is quite difficult to find high rep sellers selling clean, original owner accounts that they made. Which are the only variety I consider to have a chance of being secure.

 

You’re correct, but they are out there. I’ve had great experiences with a handful of sellers.

 

I only ever had 1 account recovered in the past that I've purchased, and that wasn't from somebody very reputable, and I should of known better. It was recovered a few weeks later I guess the scammer was hoping I've transferred wealth to it. It's better to pay the premium through somebody trusted in my opinion. Established reputable sellers/people think more from a business aspect.
