Watching Death Note...

Hmm, I loved the start, it's kind of annoying at the moment, but it was really good...

Not better than Code Geass mind you... but is still pretty good.

Code Geass was better. LeLouch won. Despite all the obstacles, he came out on top.

Light, he lost. He never got what he wanted. He may have impacted the world, but he didn't defeat the evil and corruption.

 

I must say that 'L' was pretty brilliant. The problem is that LeLouch never really drew too much attention to himself, Kira did it almost automatically.

Lulu thought out how things were going to go before he'd go into a situation.

So did Kira, and Lulu's only worked once. (And on people he came in contact with, whereas Kira's worked from anywhere at any time without requiring direct contact)

Lulu doing that wouldn't have worked. His Geass doesn't work on the emperor, remember?

And his main motivation at first was to figure out who put him and nunally in the position they were in (dead mother and all).

Plus, he knew that it wouldn't work to just march through the front doors, he had to know what pieces were in play, and turn things in his favor before he could win the game.

 

Holy mother of God my head hurts....

 

Show me a Kira that can level a city without even intending to do so, and I will show you a better show.

 

Damn, EVERYONE i know is saying Code Geass is the greatest and is recommending.

I think I liked it because it was a good battle and you aren't sure who you'd want to come out victorious. There are a lot of twists in the plot, and situations where each character shows their worth in the story.

 

I figured out who was going to win the second Kira was over-confident. It became the obvious choice to make him lose... at least from a writers standpoint.

I was disappointed when he lost his memory, cause I had already thought of everything that he could do to convince L. Even though I admit not really anticipating the fake rules ploy, I figured he'd use Rem as he did.

The only part I really liked was the start, before that one blonde moron, kira 2, was introduced.
