Ex-OMM

There are very few OMMs. And most of the retired ones don't even come back to Sythe. So it's pointless to make a whole new rank for just a few people.

 

thats the part i dont understand.. if he lost all intrest in sythe he could come back and scam a shit ton anytime.

 

you could say the same about former admins who came back and get reinstated.

If you successfully completed the app and proved yourself to be a trustworthy MM, then you get the rank. And unless you do something that makes you undeserving of the rank, it doesnt make sense to remove it simply because they havnt MMed in a while.

Chances are, if you don't have the rank anymore its for a good reason.

And thanks for the thought, but I don't need any more ranks anyway.

I don't really know why Syed lost his rank.

There is no activity requirement for an OMM, so in theory you don't have to MM for anyone. I don't get harassed, I get bugged to OMM trades - but it's making me money, so you can't really complain.

Requesting an ex-OMM rank isn't going to stop an impostor or someone, it's just up to the OMM\MM to send PM's and the traders to verify MSN's.

Not to mention the loss of OMM's are rare - and when they are lost it is due to extenuating circumstances that a majority of the Sythe community isn't made aware of, so we can't say so and so needs a rank.

I can see benefits of it and i think that they should have something to show for the hardwork so I say yes .

 

Only way to lose OMM is to do something untrustworthy

What is the point of ex-OMM? 90% of ex-OMMs no longer MM so it would be pointless. People would always be PMing them when they aren't even active and/or don't want to MM

There is no reason for this. If the rank was removed in the first place, it was done for a significant reason.
