New Smilies For Donators :)

I'd like some new smilies for $5.00+ donators, the ones we have now are boring and I think this would be a neat donator benefit. Heres a few, I wouldn't mind although obviously not everyone is going to like the smilies below, but these are just the ones I found quick for an example. Obviously I can just use my own images to make my smilies but constantly doing that myself is tiering, and I'm also a bit lazy.

 

I already asked Matthew about this and he said no.

I don't think this is needed. The current smilies are fine as is.

 

Just takes up more useless server space and doesn't exactly encourage people to donate since every emote you could possibly need is already available. This isn't MSN either, after all

 

Maybe you could add a global buzz that shakes someones screen, so we can make it like msn

Im sorry to say but it isn't really helpful or would interest people to donate.

As Blupig said, he just a waste of space.

 

Its not really helpful to most people, but it could work as avatars for example) I PM a global to add a smiley to my smilies and they save them, so I don't have to constantly find the smiley I want, copy the URL and upload it myself. Like I said that gets tiering. This is almost exactly like the font and color suggestion someone else suggested "I forgot who sorry" where I can save what font/color I'd like to use, either then constantly doing that myself.

 

Well maybe not a smiley but a new item to represent that donation, full guthix for $5 sucks LOL

I dunno, or you should be able to choose items as your donation badge, I dunno just an idea

 

Give it to the $25's. They need some benefits. $5 have enough already.

What would stop people from saving the images and posting them in the image tag? i think this suggestion wouldn't work out

 

Animated smileys are annoying... I do not support.

 

I support more, but not animated...

 

If this were implemented, they would be used, but I don't want to imagine the effects to the server latency when they are released. It is good in concept, but it has some short comings.
