    Keyword: SOME.

You don't hear of tattoo parlors closing down everyday due to this stuff. That's why I said most tattoo parlors adhere to government standards; there are obviously some that do not.

It is the customer's responsibility to do their own research beforehand.

Most of your arguments "against" are nonsensical. Tattoos do not cause physical/mental damage the way drugs and sex (before one is properly mature) can. This is like saying that kids shouldn't be allowed to wear certain kinds of clothing before a certain age. Arguments on cost are irrelevant - people are responsible for their own choices.

I think you should need to be 18 (21 might even be better..) to get a tattoo. It's a big deal in my opinion and you should be an adult to decide.

    Source?

You can change cloth any time of the day, Tattoos are there for all your life unless you have a laser treatment.

i don't think their should be an age limit.
its your body, do what you want..but then again younger kids don't have the think about having a tattoo in the long run, so having an age limit is good i think.

I agree with Superdude, I think that 16 with permission of parents or 18 without their permission. If not, I think that it should be 18 either way.
Alot of the time, people make stupid decisions due to influence and then they have to stick it out their whole life.. I think you need to be atleast Mature to make that decision.

    This^
Although i would probably say 14 with parent permission. It is something that can effect you for the rest of your life and i believe below the age of 16 (atleast) you are to young to make the decision with enough insight.

Obviously you should need parents signature. It's permanent (for the most part), and kids are stupid a lot of the times. All the morons that say you shouldn't need a signature: Go smoke some more pot because you obviously aren't very responsible. Tattoos in general show pretty low class. Looks bad later when you want a job.

Yeah, it is obviously the customers fault if they get a disease - they didn't check all the needles in the store. Idiot.

I don't believe it is against Christianity to get a tattoo at all but I will say this: The art is inside the temple, not graffiti all on the outside. A tattoo is like graffiti. Sure, graffiti is art but one of the kinds not so highly encouraged.
