A little about me.
I'm 18 years old, I go to college, and I offer a lot of services here on Sythe.org. I've been a loyal member for 2 years and still growing. I have quite a bit of knowledge about Linux/Unix based OS's. I've been studying networking, criminal justice, and programming for nearing two years and have a dream of becoming an IT specialist for Homeland Security. (Ironic that I am also on a black market, yes? Don't worry, it makes me laugh too.)

Why do you want me to set up your VPS?
I am a VPS provider, I can provide you with a VPS at a low price which includes full setups for your bots. Not to mention you will have 24/7 support with my service! Setting up a VPS can take roughly 1 hour on average. Do not be fooled by tutorials on the internet, they are very misleading as if you do not know Linux commands, you may be adding unnecessary software/packages as well as unnecessary settings.

Why bot on a VPS?
A VPS is a Virtual Private Server, which you are renting a partition of a main server. VPS's run 24/7 regardless if you have your computer on or not as it's running on a real server miles away. So, you can turn off all your computers after setting up the bots and it will still be botting. This is helpful if you want to save electricity by turning your computers off at night and still bot. This has the same risk as botting on any other computer, there are no special benefits besides being able to bot 24/7 on a server.

-A Linux based VPS (Contact me to buy one)
-TeamViewer (if you want me to do it over TeamViewer for you, not needed but an option)
-PuTTY (A SSH client. This is if you want me to do it over TeamViewer.)
-TightVNC Viewer (A VNC viewer. This is if you want me to do it over TeamViewer.)

-I am a authorized professional for VPS/Dedicated server hosting. (excluding the fact I can offer much more)
-I will not audit any of your VPS settings, passwords, or details as I am simply here to set it up for you.
-I will not decline to do it over TeamViewer.
-All passwords that are set are temporary, they will be provided when I am done and will give you specific instructions on how to change all the passwords to access your VPS.
-I will explain how to work your VPS after it is setup as most users may not know how to work their VPS after it is setup.

FAQ (do not ask me these questions)

Q: Will you contact me when the next bill is due?
A: No, I will invoice your paypal which does not deduct it automatically. You will receive an email about the invoice plus you will see a bill due a few weeks in advance.

Q: My VPS control panel is slow, what do I do?
A: If the control panel itself is slow, tell me and I'll remotely reboot it. If the VPS is running slow as in lag with the bots, simply reboot the VPS and it will work properly. Sometimes the VPS can lag with multiple bots which runs up the Java cache, but usually only see cases where people close the bots then try to run them again and it seems to lag. To fix this, as I said just reboot and it's fine.

Q: You billed me, and I didn't pay it. What will happen now?
A: Quite simple, your service will be suspended until the payment is provided. Data has potential of becoming terminated if the payment is not received.

Q: Can you upgrade my package?
A: Yes, I can upgrade it instantly or at the end of the billing period so you'd pay for the new month, not the old month. You will need to pay first before I upgrade you so I will have the payment on-hand for either instant, or at the end of the month as a down payment for the next month (upgraded)

Q: My VNC is black/fuzzy what can I do to fix this?
A: Simply go into PuTTY or your terminal, login to the VPS through the terminal and type: tightvncserver -kill :1
This will kill the VNC process and when you activate it again by typing: tightvncserver
It will start it back up. If it does not work, message me and I'll re-install VNC. Re-installing VNC always fixes the problem if it has to do with the VNC viewer.

Q: My bot client updated and a text document is opened instead of the bot, what do I do?
A: This is a commonly asked question, just follow these instructions:

Open run-linux.sh in a text editor.

At the top left corner you will see at the begining of the text: java -Xmx1000

Change: java -Xmx1000

To: java -Xmx150

Save.

Close the text document.

Navigate at the top left corner of the VPS.

Applications > Accessories > Terminal.

Open the terminal.

Type: cd /root/Desktop/bot

Press enter.

Type: chmod +x run-linux.sh

Press enter.

It's fixed, run the bot.

Q: You are always set as busy or not responding, why?
A: Mainly because I'm either away, or too busy to answer that current question. Though, I will always get back to you. Just when I'm busy I can't help everyone at once.

Q: Will you ever block me?
A: The only reason I'd block anyone is for these few reasons:
(You will be given one warning *per user*)
1: Constantly asking for a webcam invite. (24 hour block)
2: Nudges (12 hour block)
3: Constantly spamming "???" (12 hour block, it annoys me)
4: Cussing, flaming, etc. (24 hour block, I do not tolerate harassment)
5: Phishing/IP Gathering (perm, I do not tolerate it. I reserve the rights to prosecute the user under the full extent of the law.)

I have taken a handful of Cisco classes, yes. I enjoyed them quite a bit. The professor was more of a hands-on teacher which made it more enjoyable since I'm a hand's on learner. Oh boy, the tests where a blast! He would set up a computer linked to multiple servers that you have to setup and manage for one course (final exam) and you'd have to find the issue's out rather it's hardware, or on the terminals side. It was exciting. I'm glad to see you are into networking! But yes, it does take a big pound to your brain. Even though I'm rather good at math, translating binary to IP's and IP's to binary boggled my mind. I never knew you could do that, it's quite interesting what you can really do out on the internet. Those classes really dropped my jaw my first year.

To answer your question on my studies, I am studying routing (once again, a Cisco class) though it came in parts at my college, so taking the last part.

No - You have heard wrong. I barely use any of my bandwidth with burst.net on a few accounts. RuneScape doesn't use much bandwidth, nor do the bots. Though, the bots do increase bandwidth usage but it does NOT use 1tb of bandwidth in 3 days, that's ridiculous.

Yep. With the second package (linux based) with 1gb of ram and a 1.5ghz processor you can run 2 accounts without lag. You can run more, but it could lag.

I can explain the setup process if you are interested, yes. I'd prefer not to use TeamViewer as it's slower, but you have full rights to view my actions on how I set it up over TeamViewer. I can explain the process to help you understand how the process is done and what the processes do.

My packages are quite cheap. If you want to run up to 3 bots, I can provide a 1gb ram, 1.5ghz processor (single core), Debian Linux OS (v5 x82), 1tb (1,000GB) bandwidth a month for $9.95 a month. If you'd like a bigger package for more bots, please consult with me on my Skype hotline or MSN and I will give you the the correct specs and an accurate price per month for the VPS.

Personally, I use the default package I offer (explained in my second paragraph) to run one bot on. Runescape does not use much bandwidth at all, and 1tb bandwidth a month is quite a hefty amount. I can say it would not use 1tb of bandwidth a month for 2 - 3 bots. If you do encounter an increased bandwidth use, I will help resolve that issue as the control panel that is provided (vePortal) can be inaccurate.
