the staff team are f**king useless - wont verify my guides!!!

We always manage to turn the case in our favour.

 

More often than not we receive angry and rude PMs demanding we verify something. If you lack the common courtesy to form an acceptable PM; or thread for that matter, don't expect it in return.

i dont think mods should get paid to verify guides, maybe once they get active verifying them in the first place, then MAYBE a small amount like a dollar.
We shouldnt have to pay mods to prove our guides r legit.

 

Okay.. so you want us to go ingame and spend our GP and time to verify your guide is legit? Oh, don't forget another hour+ insuring you've not ripped it so that you can go on to profit? Sorry, but this requires more effort than an OMM and yet they make something. You want quick response to your guides, drop a few dollars on not only making sure your guide is legit, but also to protect it from being sold by another member. Guides take a lot of time to verify. Guess what, we sort of have a life too..

I do agree that there aren't enough staff members verifying guides.

I'm open to the idea of giving trusted members this responsibility. More information will be posted soon.

 

All valid points. It takes time and effort to verify guides, and I think mods that go out of their way to do it should be compensated for it.

 

Do they not already get 'paid' in the sense they receive a free guide? A lot of the time the guides are very good and the moderator who verifies it gets it free.

I do agree that mods should charge a small fee for verifying guides. It takes up their time and some of their money in game.

 

When I did verify guides, 50% of them didn't work.... yet my time and my own money is wasted in the process. It's moments like those that made me eventually opt out of verifying them.

 

This. They should be compensated because they are spending extra time to verify the guide. Similiar to how OMMs take their fees before the trade and keep the fee even if it falls through, same should be for mods verifying.

 

My vote is...if you're going to lock a thread, be prepared to verify it after or don't lock it at all.

 

The true goal is to clean up the guide section and protect a member's hard work/purchase.. Guys/Gals, we are only trying to do good here. Think Pen will move forward with something that will help all concerned.

 

That's the problem. You're working too hard, which corrupts the system. It forces you to fail in the "job" you do, thus leading to a crowd of frustrated people.

 

Ritchy, you really need to get off your high horse kid. You keep talking down to the admins / mods on here with feeble attempts to prove that they have made a mistake, even though you have managed to post no actual proof of this.

To make things even funnier for everyone else you don't even seem to be able to grasp the simple concept of "there are four names on this list, these are the only people that verify guides" you then use the fact you pm'd one completely random message to the mod who locked your threads, Gohan I belive asking him to verify....even though this isn't one of his roles....

Maybe if the average memember on here could read and find out how things are ment to be done, then a lot of this confusion or idiocy on your behalf could be avoided?

Either way you really should read the rules before you go running your mouth some more and making yourself a bigger laughing stock then you already are ^_^

Although, reading your replys on your previous thread kept me entertained for a good 10 minutes and I thank you for that.

 

They just make sure everything the guide seller says about the guide is true by going in game and testing it out.

Yeah, I like the idea of having members verify guides.

I agree with what you are saying.
Sythe could make a list of say 10 official verifiers and sticky it in guides section & make sure that the official verifiers verify atleast one guide a week or something along those lines to keep them active and on that stickied list.

But on the other hand, they do take up alot of there time to help us out.
They should recieve some sort of pay. Maybe the user that needs the guide verified should pay the official verifier a certain amount depending on how much they are charging for the guide?

Just had the free my mind a little there hah.

 

If the requirement only where one guide a week, there would still be tons of guide which never gets verified. Only today I've verified 3 or 4 guides (don't remember 100%).
And it takes a while, plus most guides wastes our GP.
