So what one was it? (why did you start in the first place?) i smoked casually from time to time whenever i could bum a square from my friends.
How old were you when you started? i started when i was probably about 16 and have been off and on since then.
Any regrets? nope. i do have this gnarly cough occasionally, but i think thats more from smoking weed, seeing as i do that more...

i can see how smoking is bad. if anyone smokes a lot of weed, and has ever scraped the resin(black stuff) out of a pipe, you know what i'm talking about. knowing that theres a layer of tar and smoke deposit that thick on the inside of your lungs is pretty crazy.

Users do become more dangerous when operating machinery, though not nearly as much as with alcohol.

Which pretty much explains why the US Government hates it so much.

 

$5 of weed is equivalent to one or two cigarettes. In NC cigarettes are not even $5 a pack, that might just be because we grow tobacco here, IDK.

 

NC tobacco taxes are some of the lowest in the country, though SC taxes are even lower. In MA its about $8 a pack.

 

It's probably because were the biggest tobacco farmers in the country, and if weed is legalized, we might just be competing for the biggest marijuana growers in the country aswell.

 

I smoke out of choice. I don't plan on quitting. I am perfectly aware of the heath problems caused by smoking, and I know what will happen if I continue.

 

Well I hate to say it but I smoked a few ciggs this weekend while I was with my ex, apparently I drove her to start smoking again. Problem was, I had one because I was really stressed because I thought I fucked up my car. And the other one I had was after having sex lol.

 

I doubt that. The biggest reason NC and SC are huge tobacco growers is because tobacco comes from there. The plant has adapted to the weather, soil, and everything else that affects how a plant grows. Marijuana on the other hand grows much easier than tobacco. It doesn't require special growing conditions, so it can be grown just about anywhere. I think that the biggest marijuana growing states will be the states that end up legalizing it first, and I doubt either NC or SC will end up doing so any time soon.

 

Just so you know some of the best weed in the world comes from western Carolina.

 

Source? I've had some very good weed in my time, and I know many experts in marijuana horticulture, and not once have I heard anyone talk about how good Carolinian weed is.

 

Its not called Carolinian weed. It's called Appalachian weed. Theres a difference in which places the have the best weed, and were the best weed is grown. Afghanistan has some good weed themselves grown there.

First of all, the best weed is always indoor. Second of all, none of those links talk about how good the weed is, it only talks about the fact that a lot of people grow there. Finally, if only 20-40% of the growers there manage to crop out a harvest, then I doubt the weed will be very good as the growers will most likely decide to crop out early (and thus get a lower quality harvest) than wait and possibly get caught.
