Reading ... do you actually do it?

Not really a fan of reading. When I lie down staring at a book for half an hour my head hurts... I don't know why.

Did you vote 'No, I barely read books at all.'? 'cause I see two votes for that.

I read something like two books a month. Mostly fiction, non-fiction, suspense, psychological thrillers. I love reading.

 

Currently, I am reading a lot. If I wasn't in the process of researching and writing on a book about a fringe theory (which I believe I told you about months ago) I would have picked 'Yes, I read at least one book a month'.

I don't think articles on Springer should count as books, but excluding them I am reading a lot of books, perhaps somewhere between the first and second poll options.

 

More or less one a week.

 

I try my best to read a book at least once a week,however occasionally I get caught up in school.

 

Naw, I don't really feel like reading books, but, to be honest - I'm on the computer mainly every day for a great amount of time handling online fundings, payments, business, etc and basically, I read throughout the day, so, I suppose you can count that as reading for me, .

 

I read for about an hour in bed before I go to sleep, and I occasionally read at school if there is nothing interesting going on. I also read during the day when I am VERY bored. That's just books though, I read things (News Articles, Blog's etc.) on the Internet every day without fail, and I read magazines occasionally too.
So yeah, I guess I read pretty regularly (Which shows, because last time I did a Reading Age Exam my Reading Age came out as 4 years older than I was).

 

I read one or two books a month for amusement.

But I tend not to read fiction. I like books about history, controversies, etc.

A fringe theory about what exactly?

 

I read newspapers and magazines but wouldn't go out of my way to read a book. I have a crappy attention span and tend to read things in small chunks. I've tried reading books on and off over the past few years and it's not an issue of story lines not being gripping or poor writing; I just simply cannot read books in large enough 'chunks', if you will, for them to make any sense in my mind.

 

A good book can keep me occupied for hours, so I chose about 1 a week.

I have many more books to read, about 25 sitting there waiting to be opened. I do love reading ^_^

 

Unless it's for a class or work, I don't read books. I take a look at the daily newspaper sometimes and somethings online, but other than that, that's about it.

 

I read books, magazines, watch the news, look at Yahoo, MSN news. I just like to be informed of things.

 

I used to read a lot more than a do now, and I plan on starting to read more again soon, as I enjoyed it.
I occasionally read the local newspaper if I'm bored, although very briefly. The majority of my reading is done online.

 

I read a lot of books on crime and drug usage, such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Chopper, and Faces. I just love crime books, I don't really know what it is that makes me like them so much.

 

I read at least a book every week/fortnight' mostly modern crime novels and fiction. I despise any form of fantasy (i.e. dragons). My issue is that I don't like reading a book from an author I don't know unless I have a lot of recommendations to do so. Author wise, I love Harlen-Coben and Jeff Lindsay.

i read articles mainly, as most books are lengthy and don't contain enough information to keep me interested. I read at least 5 hours a week, usually at school between classes or while doing semi-afk tasks.

I read to gain knowledge and understanding, I very very rarely read fiction books unless philosophical.


People are not answering this truthfully... I know most of this site is American.

 

I actually really do not like reading. last time i read a book fully was 3-4 years ago. i really enjoyed it but i just cba reading books anymore.
