Sythe - In General

Hello Guys , Well...

Recently , In fact , Ever since I've been with sythe ( Few months now ) I have noticed its always down..I.E. Data Base Error , Sometimes its slow as well..

Now , This has probaly been posted many of times ( Sorry for that )

But Seriously ,A website to the magnitude of sythe with all its donators etc should have a reliable host etc?

Any comments on this matter?

Im looking for a mature debate as to why we can't have a decent host with 99.999999999% reliability.

 

We just got a new host and it hasn't been down once for me. :/

 

Same, I've had it load slowly once and thats it.

 

Hasn't been down at all since Sythe got a new server. Are you still getting the database error message?

 

It's been very good ever since the great server update. The servers are great, but with all the banned scammers, you can expect a ton of people trying to ddos sythe.

 

Over the last 2 days, i've gotten it 3 - 4 times.

 

Its done it about twice with me. But other than that, it has been a night and day difference.

 

This site is running great with database errors only occuring for me @ 4 a.m. in the morning...

If people only understood 2% of networks, servers, etc they'd stop complaining extremely fast.

 

I really have no say in whether or not the hosting is good as I've been here for 6 hours, but no, I haven't had any trouble with the site.

 

I'm getting Database errors around 2 times a day since the transfer - but I'm not sure whether this is actually directly related to the hosting anyhow.... I haven't encountered the servers being down since the new host though.

 

I've got the database error about five times. But shit, why the hell does it matter? It gets fixed after 10 minutes or so, that's no big deal unless you're a Sythe addict.

 

I haven't got it once.

 

I haven't had a lag / "Server not available" for quite a while..when I first joined it was pretty bad, but honestly it's excellent now.

The site used to crash for days at a time, it's a lot better now. I occasionally have lag, and the site has gone down for maybe 10 hours tops in the last month (that I know of),but that's a minor inconvenience at the most in comparison to the previous botnets problems.

I used to get the database error or the 'this page could not be loaded' etc on the old server, but since the change of host, I too haven't had it.

Confirming that having no life makes the servers worse. Getting 404s up the wazoo :laugh:
