Account says "newcomer" despite being made 5 years ago?

I havent logged in for 5 years, but i remembered i had an account here

also how do i put my 5 year veteran award along side my avatar so it can be seen when i post on here?

That happens in some forums where staff need to approve your posts before others can see them. I approved your thread and moved it to an appropriate forum.
