I'm going to have hot sex with my mount when I get it

The Netherwing drake mount requires that you farm Netherwing rep through daily quests, which at the moment, is boring me to death and pissing me off. I sat down at my computer today all happy and awake and now I'm tired and grumpy

How long did it take any of you to get the mount anyway?

 

I started the grind and said "fuck this garbage" halfway through Honored.

 

Netherwing Drake is easily achievalbe in a week. Instead of running random heroics, run for eggs. They're very easy to find, are farmable, and really add up. This is how I got my Netherwing Drake on my Rogue, and Revered-Exalted took a day of farming eggs.

 

Eggs arn't that easy to find :S But yeh it's probably the best way to get the rep... I gave up though.. BORING.

 

They're exceptionally easy to find. You do a round of Netherwing Fortress in SMV ever couple of hours, and then you go into the mines and farm. As a level 80 they die very quickly, and drop eggs frequently.

I made decent gold because I auto-looted, and my bags would often fill very quickly.

 

I feel your pain,My 70 paladin is in a 70 raiding guild and I've been grinding on my netherwing and skyguard rep for agesssss,seriously try it on 70 and it's 10x worse.

 

I, also, have done that. I did it on my Mage, and got to Revered on my Rogue... Never again on a 70.

 

I got like 2 eggs in 2 hours, searching, mining and killing things.

 

I also did it on a level 70 with terrible gear. Was soo hard! It took a week but was worth it

 

CAn you really have sex with a mount? I have a helicopter i'm severly attracted to.

Oh and I have this little mini-gnome pet I wanted to have sex with as well

 

I guess I'll make a mini-guide for egg hunting.

Whenever you're flying around the Netherwing Island (can't remember the exact name) you need to look at the top of the peaks because you'll find many eggs here, then look near all nodes (and mine/herb the nodes, too), then go into the mines. Here you will need to get to the far left part where there are many ravagers, and that other beast that I just can't remember the name of. Then, you'll need to round up and AoE them down. Chain pull, pot, bandage, but cut the down-time to 0. You will get fast eggs if you do this. Unless, of course, someone is doing the same method of farming as you.

 

The dailies to get that mount are so damn boring that I don't even bother. I've still got the 50 mount achievement without getting nether drakes.

 

I remember doing this back at 70 on my friends hunter. It was a lot harder back then because EVERYONE was doing it. You were lucky if you could find 1 egg a hour. It takes dedication and at the end you will want to either kill your mount or have hot sex with it.

P.S. I love my Rivendare's Deathcharger that I got from Strat though. I made a lot of money while trying to get it too.

I did this a few months ago, it was brutal. A few months after purchasing all the mounts I switched my main so it was all for nothing.

I fucking hate rep grinds.
