Fake vouches

Can we get people infractions for posting vouches that don't include 2 sides of a trade? I hear a lot of people complaining about "weak" vouches lately, and I'm wondering if it's cracked down upon?

 

i sure hope so, fake vouches are almost always a sign of a scammer. and half-ass vouches don't help make people more comfortable

 

Yea some people vouch others they post it in their thread but then it contains like, thank you for bumping my thread or so

 

Fake vouching warrants a ban i believe.

The answer is:
No, it is not a bannable, as a vouch is not a requirement after a trade. HOWEVER they will ban you if they find any link between the vouching account and your account.

 

Is that really a worthy thing to post?

And when you say "weak vouches" are these like for buying/selling things that cost little or no money at all or ones from leechers etc?

 

I don't understand what you mean by "weak vouches". Vouch aren't required in trades and any sort of fake vouches are a bannable offence.

 

Fake vouches are bannable, like someone sais: i'm adding you to msn.
and someone quotes it and changes text to: vouch, went smooth.
thats bannable.

 

I fully agree, People should be banned for this offense.

 

They already are to my knowledge.
A bit more attention to detail and a lot more would be gone.

 

I think he means like pin trades, 1-5 skill training, Tut island vouches, etc.

 

Im not 100% sure what you mean by fake, but I think you're hinting at
people making multiple accounts and just getting post counts up and then pretending at trade.

I know my two current vouches seems a little bit 'fake', but I can assure you the trades were legit.

 

I thought exactly the same thing.

1-5 Skill training, should it be even vouchable? it takes less than 5 minutes for every skill, people will get like 10 of them legitly which would took like 1 hour or less, and then they're acting like trusted.

 

It would be much too hard to make a line for what you can vouch for and what you can't. Its just not worth it and makes vouches more controlled which we really do not want.

 

Its a grey area..But i always check out vouches thoroughly .
