Disallow selling of accounts you do not own/have no information on

There shouldn't be a scenario where I can sell an account for others (that I do not personally own) and collect x amount of profit. The user should be listing their account if they have an active/clear Sythe account otherwise if they do not then that should speak for itself.

This came to light where a user reached out via discord and asked me to list their ironman account for them for a $/%. Not something I do but I took a look at the photos provided & it is the exact same photos that another Sythe user is listing for someone else. I asked this specific Sythe individual (who is listing for someone else) if it's the same user as who he talked to as the guy who reached out to me has the exact same photos. Turns out it was a different user & claim that it was his brother who reached out. This individual Sythe user who listed the account for the other then said he will verify/prove the account to him.

So in this scenario we have a Sythe user listing an account for some random (who has a Sythe account & can list himself) listing it for a cut/% & slapping a 30 day ToS to protect him if it gets recovered, however doesn't even know if it's a valid/legit account as he does not have any details besides photos provided.

In my opinion this is horrible business practice & this shouldn't be allowed.

Yeah I mean as long as you bought the "ex admins" account or own it that's fine but literally selling for someone else (who actually owns it) is mad weird.

The post/suggestion was brought to light with your specific scenario. I wasn't interested in a deal as I was just warning you that you have someone reaching out with the exact same photos telling me to list it, to which you basically responded '30 days tos'.

You have a scenario where you didn't even verify if the guy owned the account, he just provided you with photos to list for x amount of dollars or a % (which I'd love to see that conversation if you'd love to post it) & you ran with it. That's setting buyers up for failure on a probably $2,000+ purchase, where you aren't even paying the 'partner' until day 31 to cover your end as well. Of course nothing will happen within 1-30 days as the random user doesn't get his side of the money until Day 31 (to which is past your ToS that you are hiding behind). The ToS isn't there to work out partnerships as 'get out of jail free cards' - it's mainly due to the fact that after a set period other users may have priority in the recovery due to change of info/etc & the fact that too many hands are in the pot.

It's not a good business practice.
