    Sythe.org NextGen Preview
    So I'm working on a new theme for Sythe.org, called NextGen, and just wanted to take a moment to give you all a preview.

    It revamps the current template with some new/updated images and looks a bit nicer and more modern. (In my opinion, at least.)

    It also has what I simply refer to as the Sidebar. (Seen on the left.)

    The Sidebar is a contextually sensitive area which changes based on where you are...

    When you're on the forum home page, it shows you your account and the forum stats.

    When you're viewing a thread, it shows you a list of forums.

    When you're viewing a profile, it shows you options for that user.

    Essentially, it adapts to what you're doing.

    The idea is it makes using the site more efficient and lets you hop between sections/tasks more easily. It also makes the forum look a bit different which can be nice in itself.

    So, I hope you enjoy this small preview and I also hope you look forward to trying NextGen when it is released!

    Its not bad but to me it seems kinda "new-forum"-ish. But the sidebar is an awesome idea.

    Any ideas on release?

    This looks pretty cool, I was thinking when reading it i'm not going to like it since I don't like change much, but it actually looks and generally sounds better. You should have a vote on it. Better than this current one by miles.

    Not really, but if you can get on the mod cp without logging in, it does create an issue. Maybe just requiring your password before using an mod tools for the first time each session.
