    Paypal Claim & Cancel/Gift

So what's the benefit of Paypal Claim & Cancel, I have visited some threads where people only accept Claim and Cancel as a payment method.

    Same with Paypal Gift.

    How do they work?

If anybody could tell me that would be great, thanks

Once you C&C, you can't make another fraud report on PayPal for that specific transaction.

As for gifting, there is no claiming fraud at all for that transaction.

So pretty much, if they recover the account you paid for using PayPal, your done. Nothing you can do except call your bank and hope they believe you.

Imo, I'd stay away from gifting or C&C'ing.

False. You can still file a dispute (or claim, as you call it) via "Unauthorized Transaction". These are the most common for the larger, more shady trades. It is almost guaranteed to lose the case (in your favor anyways).

Also: Continuing from what he said about staying away from gifting or C & C'ing.. I'd stay away from PayPal in general unless you are strictly legal within the age requirement and have the necessary documents to vindicate your identity to PayPal (helpful when you're in cases and submitting files for unlimiting your PayPal). More times than not, PayPal will limit your account for "suspicious activity" and you will probably have to submit a buttload of information and pictures to unlimit it. I'd say the majority of people cannot properly submit them and thus, you pretty much lose all the money. Paypal isn't so safe, with all the charge-backs and whatnot.

Just be careful with who you're dealing with and know what you're doing...

P.S: For trivial information, I'd try this forum next time:

^^^. You'd probably get more helpful responses.

Dang I thought Tech help would've been for like Computer settings >.<. Thanks for the heads up.
P.S What would be a good Payment method if you're under the legal age limit then?

False. If you file an "Unauthorized Transaction" when there was really no "Unauthorized Transaction", they simply check the I.P's that have accessed the account and from there decline it. It would be lying and false to open a claim when you were actually scammed rather than someone having access to your account. Never the less, it is still possible to open one.

Bullshit. Tell me, why has it been done to me like, idk, 10 times? I doubt in each of the 10 ten times, they would check solely the IP's.

It could've been a 5 year old kid who accidentally sends $50,000,000 to a stranger.

If you claim it's unauthorized, they usually take your word for it or else they are the ones that get into huge shit. You can also file a complaint to your credit card company. 99/100 times, the case is opened and won in the disputer's favor.

And don't be such a smart-ass, I was just pointing out the imperfections of PayPal. I've been utilizing PayPal for mass-trading for a significant amount of time not only limited to a secluded and exclusive marketplace like Sythe. Obviously they would be liers if they file an unauthorized dispute when they very well did consent to the transaction.. but then... they would be... what's the word again? Scammers? Frauds? Too much of those these days.

I'm not going to continue spamming this TEENAGERS thread.

Your saying a child would go up to his parents computer, and go through a page or two to get to the gift option, and send $50,000,000? First, If your spending limit is that high, your credit-score must be out of the roof and thats impressive on many levels.

I'm not ruling it out, but how many times a day does PayPal hear stories like this?

I am rational and do agree with you in the part where you were talkin' about calling/meeting up with your credit card company. That raises the chances of getting your cash back greatly.

I'm not being a smart-ass, at least I had no intention in doing so. Just my personality, don't take it personal.

    No hard feelings? <33

OT: Coinshare, this sums it up. PayPal is unsafe altogether. There will always be ways for scammers to scam, always. If you ever need help, let me know. :D
