    Pin-line pins

My Pin-Selling thread was closed, I assume by Sin666. I also assume it was for selling pin-line pins.

This is RIDICULOUS. I'd like to quickly point out that I have never used a pinline, although I (may) have bought pin-line pins.

If you want to close my thread for using pinline pins, that's fine, my issue is that you have closed NO OTHER THREADS.

Pinlines are Australian numbers, and therefore give Australian Phone pins. Are you trying to tell me that Skele_master, Finn, Magic Arrow, Aje, Amanda, Rs emperor, normalcy and Matthew905 (who all sell AUS PBP pins) do not use lines or buy from people who use lines? Are you saying they buy their pins for $13.99 AUD and sell for less than a third of that? I don't think so.

I'd like people to consider this, and post their opinion's here and I'll debate them.

(If you were wondering, I'm seeking to get my thread unlocked or everyone elses locked.)

True, and as far as I know Pins from Pin lines only took 3mins and then they became expired... Surround Sound sold me 10Pins and I've been keeping the last 5 pins. and for sure they will work.. I just used the 5th pin last monday. I bought the 10 pins like last last week.

EDIT: Unlocked his thread or Locked others thread.

The problem is that we can't prove that they're ******** shops.

How can you be so sure that what the others are selling are from ********s as well? Don't make unfounded allegations.

People on this site are so quick to whine about everything.

I locked your thread, and not others, because you were the one who made a thread asking for someone to sticky your definition of 3 second vs. 6 month pin, and in your thread specify you sell 6-months.

Had I jumped to the assumption that you did obtain them using ********s, I would have banned you, as those are our current rules. However, I am not in the habit of sorting out minor forum issues at 1 in the morning, so I locked the thread until I had a chance to ask you about it.

Moreover, one of the users you mentioned brought the issue to my attention and suggested they be disallowed. So, I don't think he would be selling them.

If you would have opened your eyes and read the above posts, you would have realized that Sin only locked Surround's thread because he admitted to using ********s. There isn't the slightest proof that the others use ********s. ^_^

If you have any proof that the others use ********s, you could always share ^_^

Pin-selling is my main way of earning profit; to me, this is not a minor issue. Regarding the sticky, I was just trying to make others aware of it. I know plenty about pin-lines because I have many pin-sellers on my MSN list and I corroborate the information to understand them better. I don't understand WHY my thread was locked. I do not use pin-lines, and it's only a possibility my supplier does; I'm not quite sure.
There was no proof my shop was, but my shop's locked.
Have you ever sold pins? I've talked to these people on MSN, they use the same suppliers and those suppliers USE PIN-LINES. I do have logs, but I'm loyal and I don't want them getting banned.

If they arn't using a ******** then what are they using? Either way you don't take a $13 pin and make it $3 without doing something illegal. So by disallowing just ******** sellers I think it would be fair to disallow everyone who sells pins. Every pin method I've seen out there have been committing some kind of crime, or they do those stupid referral survey things (but to sell mass quantities this has to be exploited as well which is illegal).

Go to ATT store text jagex - illegal

Get on chat and use fake pics tell them to text this for nudes and give code - illegal

Exploiting Surveys - I guess not so much but I've seen some really mess things up and essentially come out with more than they put in so illegal

Pin lines are huge and there is no doubt a lot of these guys are using them I actually can name a few on here that I've seen on other sites posting about their ********s also a big indication is australian pins.... How many of those threads say austalian pins? I think there is a huge assumption you just are not looking at it because some of the biggest pin sellers are mods, or very trusted on this site, but it is still illegal.

Those are just a few methods that have been leaked around the internet the other ones I have are still illegal.

    This.
I know several pin sellers who use ********s, honestly who would sell pins for $3 when they cost $13, selling pins is illegal so why should obtaining them illegally be disallowed?

Once again: This is not a discussion of whether we should allow ********s or not. Staff have already discussed it in the past and decided that they should not be allowed: the fact that a lot of people do it is somewhat irrelevant. I'm sure if we allowed users to post phishers or porn, a lot would do that as well.

I will ask Sythe, but until then, and unless he disagrees, the existing rules prohibiting the sale of stolen items and pins will be enforced.

I agree, Most of the shit on this site is infact illegal, selling pins etc. buy/selling accounts and xfering/farming is illegal too, BUT you may be wrong. in the past i've taken out contract phones when i used to be underage thus i couldn't get arrested or blacklisted, and i used to bounce the credit out of the simcards for pins and other shit like poker chips pay by sms, i used to sell the phones and keep the simcards until the sims were locked. perhaps the other kids are doing the same?

As for the rules regarding pinlines, i do not give a shit about pinlines. if someones good enough to find a way to sell cheap pins, everyones a winner. 1# the seller recieves free money, #2 the customer recieves a cheap pin. everyones a winner. aslong as the pins work why not? I think you should REMOVE the rule on pinlines. 'nuff said.

Pin lines are illegal. They were set by Telstra for their own use but were exploited and leaked and are being used to get pins.

Talk or trade about ********s is 100% illegal and is not allowed on Sythe, however I don't it's fair to single out sellers who's pins might have been gotten from ********s as 99% of pins sold on Sythe are gained through some illegal form.

Wtf are you talking about? Yes they are not allowed ?

No one uses Australian ********s that are under their own funding. Why would someone spend 14 AUD to resell for $3? All those aus pins are illegaly obtained. Meh I'll expand this later.. My mind isnt at full capacity at the moment.

So basically it's not allowable to talk about or trade ********s on sythe, but it's OK to sell pins gained from this method?

We don't allow talk of scamming others, stealing phones, chat room scam, etc... but you and me both know that's how pins are being obtained.

^Exactly. If they are obtained illegally, what is the problem with selling them, since most people do?
