Rule amendments for Software Sales

Currently, the rules in the software section are very dated and could do with being re-written and bringing inline with other software/sale related sections.

The two sections in question are:
Software Sales (Current rules can be found here)
Software Services (Current rules can be found here)

These rules were written almost 10 years ago, and whilst they were probably sufficient enough back then, I am inclined to disagree that they are now.

Below, I have mocked up some rules which I think will suffice in todays day and age, although I'm sure mods may want to amend/change some of them.

These rules are a mix of current rules in other software/sales related sections, and the current rules in their retrospective sections.

Software Sales
1. You may only have one thread in this section.
2. This section is purely for pre-made software product made by you/your company, CDKeys like Office, Operating systems & other similar products.
3. This is not a review/discussion section, any posts regarding "Is this software good", "Which one is the best" will be removed.
4. We do not allow buying or selling of malware of any sort, or hiring a programmer to write malware for you.
5. Software key sales are permitted, however proof of ownership must be provided.
6. Selling something that you did not create yourself and claiming it as your own is grounds for a permanent ban. If you are selling something of someone else's creation, you must have proof of consent (you have to prove that they're letting you sell their product).
7. You may only sell software you own or have written.
8. We do not allow buying or selling cracked/nulled software of any sort.

Software Services
1. You may only have one thread in this section.
2. This section is purely for Any custom request or any custom software product you/your company can produce. Requests for services are also allowed in this section.
3. This is not a review/discussion section, any posts regarding "Is this software good", "Which one is the best" will be removed.

Simply listing languages will suffice, but sellers will find it easier to decide who to hire if you list APIs/SDKs you are familiar with using.

 

Support, these could definitely use a rework.

 

Support, I admittedly have bought software from users on site but it was always sketchy.

The “owned” rule makes the sale feel.. I little more legal. I’d be down with the rewrite and giving Kylee the credit.
